Easy to put together in a couple minutes. It rolls smoothly with and without weight and the wheels are very quiet as well. It is a little tall at the lowest setting (about 14.5 inches high from floor to bottom base of chair) compared to the original for my chair, but it is not an issue for me personally. It takes a little bit of effort to recline but that could be due to the new-ness of the product. I wish it was a little more cost effective, however, it is exactly what I needed and totally worth it so I don’t have to spend time struggling to find a new chair! It seems sturdy and is working well so far!

The bosses the casters mount into are welded at an angle. This causes the casters to point outward. They will not turn at all and just bind. I used the cylinder and the seat plate and threw out the 5 legged base.

I used this to replace the base on a well-worn and chewed-up antique wooden "banker's chair." The installation was easy, but specific applications may require customization. I had to add a piece of plywood as a spacer. The chair is very functional, rolls well, and adjusts easily. It was a much better value than replacing the chair. Adjustable height is beneficial for people of various heights in our house. The reclining function is much quieter than the old, rusty spring and is easily adjustable.

Tried the set of wheels that came with it and new rollerblade style wheels, can’t get either to roll to well, gonna have to return and try another base looks good though!

I purchased this product hoping to save money, but unfortunately, it doesn't work as expected. The wheels keep coming off, and it doesn't move smoothly, often getting stuck in one place. I'm disappointed with its performance.

Bought it as a replacement for my Razer Chair and works very well so far. Good metal, and fits perfectly. Plus, can make the chair taller than it used to be which is very nice. However, the wheels are suspicious and do not move smoothly, I have a feeling they're gonna break eventually. So they're not very sturdy. But for the rest, it is very strong, can lean it back with no issue and well balanced.

When my chair broke distraught was my first reaction. I didn't want to buy a new chair especially over two wheels. When I found this on Amazon I swear I could hear angels singing. Not only did it fit my chair perfectly but it's better and taller than my chair used to be. The only negative is it doesn't come with screws to connect to the seat.
