Works Great.
I've used this since August of last year and so far this hasn't failed me, it's allowed me to hook up more memory for my gaming library, only draw back I had was I needed a smaller cable and other stuff but I'm not putting that on this thing, just came with the challenge. The only thing I have had a problem with is that in order for it to be charged, I have to turn on the steam deck, thankfully the charge remains when you turn it off, but apparently the hub requires power from the steam deck first before you put in the charger, at first it was annoying but then it just became a regular thing I learned to get used to, just a simple turn it on and charge and turn off. There are times when it's not detecting my SSD, but I unplug and replug it back in, fixes it automatically, sadly though, the one thing that this thing failed to do was hook up an M2 SSD externally, tried a lot of solutions and nothing worked, came to realize that the Steam Deck couldn't compensate for the required extra power needed, so a regular SSD is all I've been using and it's been working so well still. This device is worth having, the problems with it are minimal and it's easy to use.

Works great without a case
I purchased this knowing that it could potentially not fit my case. Even though my case has a good amount of clearance around the usbc port, this hub fit loose. Without the case, however, this functions like it should. Would recommend for its functionality.

Power only
Well this little device does pass through the power connection and it fits snugly. However, it will not pass through any other connected devices. I plugged in a powered hub with a HDMI out to my TV. No connectivity. This works great without this adapter. I bought the sabrent adapter because the steamdeck has a very loose usb-@ connection. This does solve that issue. So if ammunition i wanted was power, this would be fine. However, other data connection such as HDMI are what I need. So I can't recommend this item at all, hence the 1★ review. Why make this adapter only for power?

A must-have accessory
It does exactly what you think it does. It not only wraps the USB C port around to the underside of your Steam Deck, but it also provides you with two additional USB-A ports for other accessories. I like to use this with the USB adapter for my wireless headphones adapter so it's nice and tucked away underneath my Steam Deck instead of pointing straight up from the USB C port like an antenna. This also lets me charge my Steam Deck while using other accessories too which is very convenient. It's compact, it's multi functional, and it's everything I could ask for. I just wish these came as a standard accessory for the Steam Deck, that's how useful it is.

To charge, turn on Steam Deck before connecting hub
It fully works, but won't charge Steam Deck if it's connected when it's off. Turn on Steam Deck first, then connect hub to receive power. This is a consistent solution, although it's not intuitive at first; you get used to it.

Extremely picky about what power it will let through.
It does act as a USB hub, but is ridiculously picky about the power sources it lets through. It refuses the standard Steam Deck charger- you know, the charger users ARE MOST LIKELY TO USE WITH THE STEAM DECK. What did it accept? A Baseus cable with GravaStar charger. At least it provides two working USB-A ports like it is supposed to.

Perfect for Steam Deck
100% perfect fit on the steam deck, no worries now about stressing the charging port and I can plug in flash drives. I don't even notice it's there

Does NOT work with AR glasses
Product works more or less as described, but I was disappointed to find none of the ports allow my Rokid Max AR glasses to work once connected through this dock. The whole reason I bought it was to be able to connect a keyboard, mouse, and my glasses. Keyboard and mouse work, glasses do not, no matter which port I use. Unfortunately it's no use to me for that reason, but not really worth sending back either.

Doesn't work with rog ally x it's too thick to plug into the ally x ports

Most of the time the steam deck won't charge with this device, headphones plugged into one of the A slots will, same with anything else, but for power to work you need to plug and unplug it over and over until it decides to charge... You will usually have to disconnect this device well over a dozen times before it will actually charge the steam deck.

Doesn't fit over any hard cases so if you're set on keeping your modcase and not willing to modify it don't waste your money. I personally was quite happy to perform some quick cosmetic surgery on my modcase and managed to get it fit nicely. It's very useful for leaving a keyboard and mouse receiver plugged in so if I need them in a hurry I'm not scrambling around for a hub or dock.
