This is the fourth or fifth pair of goggles I've tried for severe dry eye and they're the best for comfort. However, I have a small face so they are a little big. But they don't have a hard bead-like string sizer thing that digs into the back of your head all night, so that's a bonus. Edited to add: Whatever material they're using for the lenses scratches badly and easily. I scratched the first pair I purchased and bought a second pair (thinking I did something to scratch the lenses so badly). The second pair are badly scratched now and I was extremely careful to follow directions for cleaning.. Makes it hard to read my book at night. Edited to add: The elastic they use to hold the goggles on your head loses elasticity very quickly. The elastic dye isn't permanent either and bleeds after you wash the goggles. If they could fix the elastic and use lens material that doesn't severely scratch the lens when you wash the goggles, these would be perfect. :D

Seriously. They would work well for swim goggles, but they're not being marketed as swim goggles. They're being marketed as a device to keep your eyes moist as you sleep. Yeah, no, they don't do that, because that's not how the human body works. Moisture doesn't evaporate out of your closed eyes as you sleep. It drains through your tear ducts, which drain into your sinuses, which drain into your throat. This product - or its marketing - is based on bad science. But like I said, this product would work well as a pair of swim goggles. When you put them on and adjust the strap, and especially if you press on the goggles to push the air out of seal, a vacuum is created and they would be thoroughly decent swim goggles. It's a shame they're not marketed as such. There's also a plastic case included. It looks like a pencil case that has been repurposed. Furthermore, if you want a similar quality item, I recommend you go to your local dollar store and buy a pair of swim goggles. Don't pay more than five dollars. They'll work just as well.
