Game changer for certain dishes!
Can’t believe I’ve bought MSG after years of believing its bad rep, but after doing some research about it I decided it might be better than all the salt and soya sauce I use to get flavour which is often far too much. This product is great for home cooked meaty dishes like stews, soups, egg fried rice and Chinese dishes. Completely enhances the taste with just a pinch. A lot of foods naturally contain Glutamate so research those to know which don’t need MSG or benefit from it.

Cheapest source to try MSG, and it changed my cooking
I love trying out new ingredients and cooking different dishes, so I was excited when I started to learn about including MSG in home Asian food. After looking around in local shops and online, I have found that this is by far the cheapest source for the stuff. I'm incredibly excited with how it has transformed my food! It shockingly doesn't really "taste" like anything, but brings out other flavors in your dish that weren't noticeable previously. The best way I can describe it is just the essence of takeout Chinese food that you can sprinkle into your food at the end. I totally recommend getting this, even if it's just to try out MSG for the first time. Its a great price, does great things for your food, and is a very decent sized bag to last a long time in your kitchen.

I'm from the UK, had never used MSG before (although I've definitely had it in meals, as it occurs naturally in certain foodstuffs anyhow) and decided to give it a try. After being a fan of Uncle Roger for some time, I can see why it's used in practically all Asian food. It's incredible. Honestly, ignore all of the anti-MSG nonsense that western cultures seem to spout, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with using it. Same as with salt or sugar, it's just common sense to not use a TON of it constantly in your diet. Aside from that, in most savoury dishes you will notice the difference in how the flavour hits your tastebuds! You don't need to use loads. Just substitute whatever salt you would normally add for either 50/50 MSG to salt, or the whole lot. It actually contains less sodium than salt, so it's ideal for low sodium diets as well. Don't be afraid of adding some umami to your food! Why so weak?

Excellent quality, just a shame the bag was split
Bag was split on arrival, would have been good value for money had I not had the throw 3/4 of a bag away. Can't taste anything extra in food but does bring out the flavours of a dish. Only advice don't add too much extra salt especially if you use soy sauce as salt content is high.

Salat sauce et plus tout donne un meilleur goût

Yeah just sprinkle some of this on your food and it just tastes better. That's kinda about it. Tasting it straight is strange. It's not salty, sweet, bitter, sour but has a strong savory flavor that lingers in your mouth. Generally 1 to 2 gr per 200/300 gr of meat, vegetables or carbs (rice, pasta, noodles etc)

Das gute alte MSG, der beste Geschmacksverstärker den es gibt. Ich nutze es um meinen Gerichte noch den letzten Pfiff zu geben. Und weil ich es nur sehr dezent einsetze hält das 200g Tütchen bei mir auch schon nen halbes Jahr. Sein Ruf ist deutlich schlechter als er sein sollte, dank vieler Falschaussagen von manchen Köchen. Glutamat ist ohnehin in vielen Lebensmittel wie Tomaten, Pilzen, Fisch, Soja, Eiern und Milch von Natur aus enthalten.
