Excellent Cube!!

Seems to have good reviews but there are so many things wrong with this. Firstly it is very expensive for what it is. Very poorly made with cheap plastic which shows gaps in construction. I would have expected aluminium at least for this price. Secondly, getting the app to work is unnecessarily difficult. The instruction book even expects you to run into problems with various trouble shoots and resets. You are met with the words 'Don't panic' on the front of the manual. Which isn't a good start. Why would I need to enter my full wifi credentials? Why doesn't it just detect my wifi and I can enter my password like everything else can do? . A simple app that connects via bluetooth would be so much better. The effect is very good with the cube but you do have to view it at the correct angle which is really eye level which is awkward when putting it on display. The 3D printed stand it comes with is cheap rubbish. Even the sellers website is riddled with spelling and grammar errors. Returned for refund due to app issues and especially product quality for the money. Worth £40-£50 for this smaller model at best.

Light quality and color options are amazing! Just the right amount of brightness and quality made! Functional in ease of programming different modes! Love it!

What they got right -Design and materials are fairly high quality -LED's are placed symmetrical and seem fairly straight What they got wrong -It's cool but it's not worth $230 at all. I would place the cost to manufacture at around $80 Is it cool? Yes, but is it worth $230? Not even remotely. If it was $100, I would give it 5 stars.

The construction of this light box is seemless and well finished. I purchased the nano with stand. The instructions are clear and concise, but it is so simple you don't really need the instructions for more than the app info and handling care. The app is easy to use with a very friendly and easy to figure out interface. The screen shots of the app I have attached show you can adjust the light intensity, pattern speed, sensitivity to sound. There is a drop down list, as shown in screen shot, of the different types of light patterns to choose from - when creating you own custom. As seen in the screen shot, you can fine tune the colour's of the lights. The vast amount of options make for the ability to create slow, soft, warm lighting - all the way to harsh highly reactive bright light. This light cube was everything I expected and much more. It does everything it advertised it could, and more. The options for fine tuning paired with the quality is outstanding. I don't feel I wasted any money buying this light cube over the cheaper options - the quality is far better, and quality isn't cheap. You get what you pay for. I highly recommend this light cube. If you're still clinging to EDM and light shows - this cube is an amazing alternative for those nights you need to take the extra strength Ibuprofen and kick those arthritic feet up.
