Greenspan's Basic and Clinical Endocrinology, Tenth Edition

good quality book

Covers all major topics of Endocrinology including Diabetes and some less commonly covered. References from as recent as 2017. Each section written by an expert or several in the field. Much useful information presented. Practical pointers and precautions, yet the basic science is as well included to allow a more grounded understanding of the topic. The authors write with interest in their topics. The Kindle edition was even more useful on an iPad if you like to cross reference topics with more web info. The text itself has many useful images, tables, and algorithms. Some topics are covered in more than one area. Where that was the case I found cross references present and the coverage more reinforcing than redundant. Minus the preface, appendices, and index the total text is under 800 pages. It is a useful review, update, and compendium of the topic.

I have no issues with this highly rated textbook. However the packaging of this textbook was very poor. Edges of the front and back covers which were paperback were significantly damaged.

I bought this book as source for my study , there was no plastic around the book , and the edges was damaged , looks like used , disappointed

Is not brand new. I just discovered there is a sketch mark on a page.

I am unable to zoom in on images which I think is important in a textbook. I wish I had bought the regular book instead the images pop out better and are clearer.
