This is a must for wooden chopping/serving board as maintains smoothness and overall health of the board. No nasty smell and leaves the board looking brand new when applied and left overnight. Very easy to apply thanks to the design of the pouring tip. If you want your board to last the test of time then get yourself one of these, it does the job perfectly. Highly recommend!!!

Chopping board oil? Was this a gimmick? The answer is no. I’d treated myself to a decent bamboo chopping board, fed up of the plastic ones bending and flaking and scoring too easily. I’d reviewed the recommendation to buy the oil too and thought “why not?” I am so pleased I did. You use very little oil and it is truly completely tasteless and odourless. Let it soak in and dry and you can see the difference in the wood right away. I realised that I had a few wooden items laying around - spatulas, spoons and 2 other small boards and they’ve all been treated. I’ve only used a tenth of the bottle so far. I also used this oil on an old faded, wooden stool just to see the effect before I went out out bought varnish and it has come out vibrant and lush looking, the dark natural colour has sprung back and it looks amazing. I’m literally searching my house now for anything wooden just so I can perform more magic. Well worth the money and to protect and preserve the original purchased board is worth the very small effect of wiping it over every few weeks.

I emailed this company to find out if there were any allergens in this oil especially nuts being as even door handles these days seem to be a 'may contain peanuts, nuts and idiots who can't clean production lines properly' I was pleased to have a quick response with a very friendly and helpful insight into their product being free of every allergen on the planet. They also recommended usage and added a sincere thank you for choosing their product. Something you rarely get these days a company that still cares about their customers fantastic. I'm pleased to say this not only comes from a great company it's also a amazing product. After buying various wooden cutting boards and utensils (even some bamboo pizza trays) I was looking for something to protect my investment. I wiped the oil as per instructions all over the wood and left it over night to allow it to absorb and buffed off in the morning followed by a quick wash and the finish is incredible. I cannot recommend this product enough. If you're looking for a oil to protect your wooden kitchen boards this is the one to buy. Just make sure you get yourself some lint free cloths for buffing afterwards otherwise you'll end up with something that resembles the car seat after she's worn her new fluffy jumper... Fluff everywhere ergh.

I have never purchased oil for my chopping boards before, however when researching how to keep them looking nice i came across lots of advice in relation to using food grade mineral oil. I thought i would give it a go... Having looked there numerous listings for mineral oil what i noticed was that this stuff is quite expensive for a very small bottle normally around 500ml. Then i came across this product which was a similar price to those smaller bottles yet you get 1l of product. I placed my order... Application was simple... a lint free cloth... pour on a generous amount of the oil and massage into the wood. Leave around an hour then wipe off the excess that has not soaked into the wood. The results were simply stunning! My pictures don't do the before and after justice! The wood looks almost brand new. The lighter wood is the before picture and the darker wood is the after picture. 24hrs later and the wood still has a nice deep shade to it. Overall i am really pleased with this product. I still think it is very expensive for oil, however in comparison to other products which are half the size i see it's value! I hope you found my review helpful.
