These turned out to be the best and most practical solution I’ve used: they catch hair and small valuables, allow water to drain properly, and are very easy to clean. The removable stainless-steel basket does a great job collecting hair and small items (rings, earrings). The pop-up seal is solid, helps prevent odors when closed, and drainage speed is not noticeably affected during normal use. The design looks modern and fits well in the sink; the construction feels sturdy and durable. Installation is extremely simple, just drop it in, and cleaning is quick: pull out the basket, empty it, and rinse. It works fine als long as you are very careful to make sure the top piece is tightly srewed on and doesn t become loose. I put it in my bathroom sink and it did the job, looked nice as far as that goes, but apprently the top became a little loosened and before ai knoew it, that piece fell down into the drain pipe and to this day I haven't been able to remove it. I called Amazon about this functional issue and they sent me a replacement right away. Since then, I am checking it regularly to make sure the top is securely in place. At this time I removed it altogether becauseit was becoming a nuisance. Back to the original drain strainer used before this purchase.

It fits one sink's drain flush, but not the other, so I cannot use it to hold water on both sinks. I had to go back to my old rubber stopper. Other than that, it's a nice gadget, easier to clean the "collection" basket than a previous product, after the original sink stopper stopped working.
