The pads are very generously sized and well-soaked with the liquid. One side is very textured, which is perfect for those who have bumpy skin. The other side is smooth, suitable for use anywhere you'd use a salicylic acid product. The fragrance is very pleasant. We find them to be non-drying and non-irritating even with daily use. Great results and a very good value.

Love these pads! They’re big and are double sided. One side has a rough texture and the other is soft. They’re saturated in the acne solution so you don’t have to worry about dry pads up top and soaked pads on the bottom. They’ve helped clear up some bumpy skin on my arms as well as some unsightly acne on my bum. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with either of these kinds of skin blemishes.

These are fantastic. They are huge and have a good scrubby side. They have a citrus smell and work great!

I buy these because you get the same 2% SA as the red tubs, but the red tubs are about $5 for 55 pads while these are about $5 for 90 pads that are larger in diameter. The rough side SUCKS. I strongly recommend against intentionally using the scrubby side as it is painful and WILL leave scratches all over you if you use it like you might any normal exfoliating device (dry brushes, files, scrubby mitts, etc.); the only place I imagine it not hurting is maybe your heels if you let them callus up. If you use it very gently it might be alright but it never felt genuinely good to me. Please remember that the main benefit of acid exfoliants is their ability to evenly and relatively gently exfoliate instead of mechanically damaging and hurting your skin. There's a reason why so many people recommend against using those old apricot seed scrubs and whatnot. There is at least some merit to things like dry brushing by contrast, but even dry brushing is fairly gentle compared to this. The smooth side is pretty normal. The main issue is that the pad is prone to curling and sticking to itself, the grippy side will bite into itself and make the pad difficult to use (and it might even unravel sometimes if you try pulling it apart) For my purposes, that's just a little annoying but I can work with it if it means I get nearly double the pads for the same price. It is quite drying, but exfoliants like this often are. I like to use it as an exfoliant all over my body (never my face, 2% SA is too strong for my face but it might be fine for others). Usually I do it a bit before a shower, and at the end of applying the pad to wherever I want, I use the remaining "juice" on my armpits. This kills off bacteria that makes you stink (not permanently) and exfoliates nicely at the same time. I like to take a shower within a reasonable amount of time to wash away whatever it works on, as well as the SA itself so it isn't sitting on my skin forever.

These are phenomenal. They are really moist and stay that way throughout the whole container. One side is rough and exfoliating and the other is smooth. They are probably about 75% bigger than a standard stridex pad. In a world full of over expensive skin care products, these are a hidden gem. 2% salicylic acid for this price??? What a deal and super easy to use. I’m 55yo and I certainly don’t have acne anymore but along with a good moisturizer, you can have a great skincare regimen on a budget.

I bought these to help with my recent breakouts around my chin area. I read reviews before buying and I do agree that you should be careful with the abrasive side. It does feel quite rough but if you do not apply a lot of pressure it works really good! I break out around my chin area and I use the rough side first. It feels better already after 1 use. The smell isn't bad either. I read a lot of reviews about it smelling good like grapefruit which it does but it does have a medicated smell to it as well. It does not bother me though. I'm hoping to see a difference in my skin after a few weeks of using this product. I do like the larger pads. Also, my face gets pretty oily and this got rid of that after using the pad. I recommend a good moisturizer after about 15 minutes or so otherwise your face might dry out. I will update as I use more. As for now, this is something I will definitely purchase again. Thank you!

So these are a bit TOO scratchy, even for the tough skin areas like your heels! They are super strong on scent as well. So when I first got them I stuck them in my top drawer for emergency backup or something. Then went back to the original option, however, I still tend to grab one of these every now and then just because the softer side of the round actually cleans better than the original in my opinion. It says they are pore tightening, and I can vouch for that. The nights I use these on my face before bed, the next morning my face is clearer and pores are less noticeable. Took me a few nights to realize that it was this product making that happen. So now im torn because you can only use one side! But that side is so worth it...overall I wouldn't buy these again but I will be finishing the container.

This is not a gently scrubber; I would not use this on my face. This stuff could strip the paint off a car. ... which is what I need on my legs. 10/10. This is my favorite body exfoliant.
