Best Invention Ever!
I recently redid a room and needed to run surround sound. It wasn’t planned initially so I had to find something that would run under a rug pad and rug. I searched and found Ghost Wire! Is it a bit pricey? Yes. Is it freaking worth it? Hell yeah! It’s super flat, the copper is a nice thickness and it’s STICKY! If your surface is not clean, it won’t stick well. Have a clean surface? It’s not coming off without some damage - KEEP THIS IN MIND!! Used this along a painted concrete floor. Worked exceptionally. Easy to install and put in place. I now have surround sound and you can’t even tell it’s there! You must use the connecting block! It’s designed to connect the flat wire to your speaker wire. Don’t cheap out. Highly recommend this if you need super flat, hidden wire.

Great alternative to in-wall cable runs
We were renovating and repainting our family room, and my wife agreed to let me put up surround speakers on the condition that there were no visible wires. Unfortunately, on a room with 3 exterior walls, running the speaker wire in-wall was going to be a difficult task. Likewise, wireless options aren't really up to the task if there are no electric receptacles in the area. After reading reviews, we decided to give Ghost Wire a shot. We did some small test samples, about 1-2' long, on a section of the wall where the wire would be run, and painted over it with the color that would be used on the wall. After it dried, my wife said it was minimally visible, and wouldn't bother her, so away I went on installing it. Installation took about an hour per line. I ran it in short sections, peeling off the backing paper as I went, and smoothing it out with a credit card. The adhesive is VERY tough, and not at all forgiving, which was the most trying part of the install, and why I docked it a star. If you make a mistake, paint IS coming off the wall. Changes in direction near corners are particularly difficult because you need to get the angle exactly right, and the adhesive is fighting you the entire time. But once it was up and painted over, it practically disappeared. It is decidedly less visible at eye level and above, and more visible down low. The corners are the only part where it needed extra attention with paint. In all, I'm very happy with the product. It did what it was supposed to, and barring the installation headaches with corners and turns, wasn't bad at all. For a straight run, it would've been no problem at all. Once the paint was up, the only thing left visible was the terminal block. It passed the walkthrough test when my mother-in-law came to see the room and didn't even notice it until it was pointed out to her, and even then she said she still couldn't see it.

This stuff is awesome!
Really easy to install the tape. We replaced our carpet and installed vinyl flooring so I wanted to hide all my speaker wires. Just to be on the safe side I sanded all the areas where the wire would stick to, but probably not necessary. Then I taped it all down with sticky masking tape so it would not more during the flooring install - again, probably not necessary. After flooring was in I installed the terminal blocks on top of the baseboard. They were challenging because the adhesive is sooooo sticky but I got it done. All works and sounds great!

Started peeling off in less than a day
It doesn't stay stuck to my wall. I followed the instructions and watched the video beforehand. I wiped the wall with a damp microfiber to remove any dust and let it dry. I then applied the Ghost Wire starting at one end, peeling about a foot of the backing off at a time, smoothing it and rubbing it to the wall. Working the wrinkles out as I went along. Within one day, both ends of the run had about 6 inches peeling off the wall. Three days later, and both ends are now peeled off about 2 feet. Every morning I've tried to rub it back to the wall. My walls do have a very slight orange peel texture. Perhaps on a smooth finish the Ghost Wire would adhere better. I have not attempted to paint over it yet (and likely won't since it doesn't stay on). The total length of my application was 11.5 feet. Beyond the issue of it not remaining adhered, there were a couple other issues as well. First, there's about 1/8 of clear adhesive which is not covered by the white surface material running down the entire length of the roll. This is very visible (and sticky feeling). I was hoping that I could spray some wall texture over it since paint will likely not cover it correctly. I also snapped off my exposed ends when attaching the end connectors. Since the copper is very thin, any etching done with a razor blade to cleanly expose the copper strips weakens it to the point that any flex will shear it off. I had to peel back and use scissors, leaving a small flap rather than a nice clean transition. My Ghost Wire also was quite wrinkled from being rolled up. The manufacturer states that it's a known issue and recommends a heatgun/hairdryer to remedy so I expected that going in I liked the idea of this product. If it would have stayed on the wall, it would have been great. Even with the problems I had, I could see this working well if run under a carpet. I'm contemplating using a router to notch a shallow channel in the drywall and then just mud over the inserted wire. [update] A week later, and it's completely peeled off. Not an inch is left stuck to the wall. It's just hanging between the two connector blocks that are screwed in.

Awesome stuff, 1 weak spot
I use this for doing audio in places where I have to cross traffic paths. It’s no thicker than gaff tape so it’s almost unnoticeable The only issue is the connection blocks are a little janky, I tin the speaker wire, and when installing I tape the block and cables down tight. Granted it’s made for home use not what I do, but the stuff is amazing if you don’t want to see or trip on cables

Great product and is exactly as described. Easy to install and literally invisible. Thanks

There was no clip in the box as shown in the pic...it was a task to arrange and fix cable differently.

Awesome, so easy to run under my area rug and no bumps are detectable. Perfect for many applications where you simply don't want to see the wires.

This product does its job as advertised. It stuck well on our fairly new flat white paint, and once properly connected it gave us good sound from the wall-mounted speakers of our home theatre system. Easy to paint over it after giving it a day or two to get well stuck and it is now nearly invisible. It loses a star because it was hard to properly attach the necessary termination blocks at each end of the flat wire. The hinged terminator has to be open so you can screw it to the wall, then you have to snap it shut on a folded-over end of the flat wire (with backing removed). It is tricky to get the wire properly positioned so that it makes good contact and does not interfere with snapping the terminator shut. It's very helpful to have some kind of little volt/resistance meter to check each connection before you mount the speakers. It's also a bit tricky to stick the wire to the wall straight and vertical without bubbles. A faint pencil line drawn with the help of a level may help you get the wire straight. and it will be covered when you paint. Take your time, because once it sticks it won't come off without pulling paint off. It's also annoying that the terminator blocks come only as a set of 4, and are so expensive. It you have a 3 or 5 channel system, you will waste two. And at least for our setup, the terminators cost more than the wire.

Great idea, would have been a great product with better quality control. It worked well and lost three stars because: 1. Bubble in the ribbon making some bubbled areas and making it visible through paint 2. There are some creases in the metal conductors making it visible through paint.
