I do a lot of crafts and ordered these sheets in a range of felt colours to make some Christmas decorations, as I have a lovely book with items and ideas which I've been wanting to make for a long time. It's a medium thickness (not too thin), ideal for all manner of crafts. Children in particular love cutting, gluing and sewing (no need for hems!) with felt - it's a lovely soft, tactile, easy to cut fabric for learning and exploring crafts, and this kit contains all the key colours to make just about any item. The large size of the sheets means there's plenty to go round without squabbling over the different colours, and longer pieces for creating larger sized projects - from stuffed toys, to collages, appliqué, pencil cases, finger puppets, sewing needle cases, bookmarks - and there are whole books full of felting project ideas for all ages. For adults it's quick to cut, sew, and lovely to work with. I'll be keeping my felt to hand, ready for making some lovely Christmas decorations, and as this large quantity will last me some time, many other items as it will keep me going for a long time!

The first thing to note about this felt is that it didn’t arrive in rolls – it was loosely folded. That’s not a problem for me, but may not be what purchasers expect. The felt fabric is decent quality and comes in a nice range of colours. It’s a good thickness (about what I expected) and is easy to cut into even very small shapes. This would be ideal for children’s crafts.
