Awesome sun protection — cooling, comfortable, and long-lasting
My husband has purchased around eight sets of these now — and for good reason! He prefers to wear sun protection rather than use sunscreen, especially since he works outdoors as an electrician and we spend a lot of time fishing, hiking, and camping as a family. These sleeves are incredibly comfortable — I was honestly surprised by how cooling they feel in the heat. They’re not hot or restrictive at all, and they fit both me and my husband comfortably. We even threw a pair on our 5-year-old during a surprise hike, and while they were a bit long, they stayed on and gave her the coverage she needed. We keep sets everywhere — in the car, his toolbag, our fishing gear — and they’ve held up really well. They’re easy enough to wash, though I will say the white ones stain easily if you’re doing particularly messy work (like construction), and those stains are tough to get out. I’d recommend darker colors for heavy-use situations. Style-wise, they look sleek and sporty, and the quality across all our sets has been consistently great. A super practical, affordable way to get solid sun protection without the mess of sunscreen.

Selling Smooth Sliding by Brenna Stroklund
I have been playing sports for a long time now, and always try to keep up with the trends. The biggest one in volleyball is wearing arm sleeves, and for good reason. I first discovered them while watching volleyball on TV. Then I started to see colleges around me wear them. So I decided to try them out before the season started. Funny enough now at the end of the season, our whole team wears them everyday. Amazon is my go-to, and the cheap price of only 10 dollars for a pair is a great deal. The quality is perfect for anyone looking to protect themselves from the sun, cover up tattoos or burn marks, or just keep cool on a hot day. They came in the mail on the expected delivery time and were packaged well. When I opened them, they were sealed in a little plastic bag and folded. My first reaction was how soft they were; I wanted to put them on immediately. They were so comfortable that I wore them to volleyball practice that day. My first experience wearing the sleeves was all around positive. While diving on the gym floor, the sleeves were very smooth and prevented me from having any floor burns. During the practice, they stayed cool and breathable the whole two hours. So much so that I forgot I was wearing them at times. I did get one small hole in the elbow on the left arm. To prevent this I try to rotate the pairs so that they stay effective, however I don’t see a way you can patch the holes. I wouldn’t expect them to develop holes if you are doing any of the following activities: hiking, working, biking, spending time outside, or even bowling. In that case, they are actually very resilient. I was so impressed that I recommended these sleeves to my good friend on my team who is a phenomenal volleyball player. She plays the setter position which means she is always diving and sliding on the floor after balls. Every practice she wears them and also comments on how they look cool. Since she is planning on paying college volleyball, she bought her own pair off of amazon as well. After a few months of usage, they are still very promising. I just put them in the washer and dryer to get cleaned and that does not seem to damage them at all. Occasionally I will air dry them as well, but if you would rather use the convenience of the dryer, that is totally safe for this product. The only thing that is affected by the wash is after a few months the “Sports Trail'' logo starts to break and peel apart. I can usually go for about three days of two hour practices before I need to clean and wash the sweat out. After that they are still very soft and don't have odor. Overuse is what makes or breaks these sleeves. They are so cheap that I was impressed with the quality right away. However, when you use them almost everyday for 3 months, they can start to fall apart. Keep in mind that I am playing sports with them on a regular basis, so if your purpose doesn’t include physical activity, then this does not apply to you. Towards the end of my volleyball season, some of the seams on my oldest pair started to come apart. This is probably caused by my having to pull them up after a long play or match. I highly recommend giving this product a try for any purpose needed, especially sports. The occasional wear and tear is expected of any athletic gear, but you will receive great results for the duration of your season.

Decent but Could Be Improved — Loose Wrist Fit
I’m a chef and bought these arm sleeves to use while working in the kitchen. The material feels light and cool, but I noticed a few loose threads even though they were new, similar to small runs in stockings. The sleeves fit okay overall, but the wrist area is a bit loose for my preference. I wish it had a tighter fit around the wrists. Not bad, but I’ll probably try a different brand next time.

DUAL FUNCTION ARM PROTECTION
I'm 76 years old and have had numerous skin cancers removed, and my skin is fair and thin. I bought these sleeves to protect my arms from the Florida sun, and they do the job quite well, as designed. They are comfortable, fit just right, and they stay in place, which I consider to be an absolute must. An important bonus, for me, is that I can wear them around the house to protect my arms from annoying skin tears, which happen when my uncovered arms brush against door strikes, furniture and wall corners, and just about any hard edged surface. Saves a lot of bandaging.

The best sleeves and I've tried many
I thought thumb holes would be a good idea but nope. The thumb holes are not hemmed and thus they eventually stretch, fray, and tear. So I stopped using the thumb holes entirely and now they're just sleeves. Never put them in the dryer! Always let them air dry. They will dry within a few hours no problem. These are thicker than most others I've found on Amazon so I think they're better quality. I would highly recommend you order the ones with the thumb holes despite not using them because they'll be a little bit longer. Less stretch means better UV protection. Side note: they have the word "Meiyante" printed on each one. I don't like that but's not much of a complaint. Outside of all this, they work pretty good for my application... which is to protect my arms from the sun (or bugs at night) when riding my motorcycle. And they actually keep my arms cooler than without them. I'm quite comfortable in them. Note: I HIGHLY recommend you wash them thoroughly first because every pair of these I've ordered always cause ridiculous itching on my arms if I don't wash them first. Over time, whatever is on them that causes them to itch fades away.

Feel good and are effective.
100SPF sunscreen is like wearing plaster so I got these to see if I could get some protection without the mess. I was surprised at how well they fit and how comfortable they are. I wear them while golfing. A round is 6.5 miles or so, 4-4.5 hours, so plenty of sun at 7000 feet. They are easy to wash and have held up well. Good price, too.

Too tight for me
I bought these to wear with a sling because my arm was getting irritated and itchy. I really wanted them to work, but they were far too tight around the bicep. The compression was so strong that I ended up with a bruise and still have a red mark a week later. I wouldn’t recommend wearing them for more than a few hours unless you have smaller arms. I have average-sized arms for a man — not a bodybuilder — so these seem better suited for slimmer builds. The material quality is good, and the cooling effect is nice. Overall, they feel comfortable aside from the tightness in the bicep area. I just wish a larger size were available.
