Does this one has a direct drive system, no belt?

no both decks are belt drive but this is still a good modern cassette deck

Do i need an amplifier to transfer cassettes to computer ?

No just headphones and an audio interface (focusrite/Roland/Quatro etc.)

Can you record from one cassette to another

Yes , this machine is good . I use it to tape to tape or you can even record on both tapes at once with an external device .

Is the tape mechanism in this player a 3 head or 2 head design?

Not 100% sure didnt have it long enough to work it out. The mechanism is so noisy and with a hollow casing you can hear it at low volumes so i sent it back. At first i thought it was great but there are just so many issues with this machine
