These are beautiful pencils. I would HIGHLY recommend a nice quality sharpener because they work exceptionally well when sharpened with a nice sharpener versus a not-nice sharpener. Work great for fine-point drawing as well as shading by using the side of the pencil. Love these for drawing out the sketch before ink. Erases quite clean, even after numerous pencils lines and attempts at an especially vexing drawing. Great value for the number of pencils you get. They do NOT arrive sharpened so please, grab yourself a nice sharpener as well. You'll be glad you did.

These are the best pencils out there and is the recommended pencil by our kid's elementary teacher. We buy this 12 pack every school year for each of my kids along with a pack of their erasers to get them going through the school year. It's unbelievable to know how many pencils these kids go through in a school year; the 12 count definitely helps. These pencils write super near and dark; they also sharp well in the electric sharpeners without breaking the lead.

I like these pencils because of its erasers. The erasers do not leave marks like other pencils do. They also write nice.

Ticonderoga pencils are a staple in our homeschool. These are excellent, durable pencils. The erasers aren’t the best, so I recommend using a gum eraser.

These are great pencils. I like that they come in black. I have bought them a couple of times in store and online. I get them for my daughter school and for me in my home office. they arrived on time and would recommend to keep handy for your office supplies.

One pencil was shorter than the rest and completely missing an eraser, otherwise great pencils. My son prefers these over the traditional yellow ones.

It's a purely wood cased pencils.1 pack having a 12 pencils.my daughter like this pencil so much because it's writing a smooth handwriting.its very useful product.

Still the world's best #2 pencil. I've never actually had the black ones. I only ever had the normal yellow ones. I got these because they were significantly cheaper than the yellow for no discernable reason, but they're identical. It's kind of fun having goth pencils. Very grown up. Very black tie. Very demure. But in all seriousness, I'm a professional illustrator and animator and have been using these for my entire (pretty long) career and wouldn't bother with anything else.

Excellent pencils. Worth the price! The only ones that actually stand up to a 10 year old boy who’s rough on things and loves to draw!

Excellent product and wrll delivered

Having seen some poor reviews I was prepared to be disappointed with the black pencils but they are not too bad. I have used the yellow ones for drawing and find them quite good and feel quite nice and the yellow are made from cedar. The black ones, however, are not made from cedar and the finish is not quite as good but for drawing they are still OK. I would not swap a yellow (made in Mexico from cedar) for a black (made in China from ?) But hey use what you have and close your eyes!
