I love this lightweight retinol moisturizer. I have tried other retinol creams and they have dried my face out and left it flakey. This one is gentle, but effective, evening out my skin tone and softening fine lines and wrinkles. My skin is not dry and feels very soft and supple. The product goes on smoothly, provides good moisturizing, and is so lightweight. It absorbs quickly and has no scent. I would highly recommend this product!

I recently started using the Eight Saints Smooth Sailing Retinol Cream and I absolutely love it. Like the rest of the Smooth Sailing line, it has no scent, which I really appreciate, and the texture is rich yet lightweight. It’s moisturizing and absorbs without feeling heavy or greasy. I’ve already been using the Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum and Eye Cream, so I was excited to try this moisturizer and it did not disappoint. It layers perfectly with the serum and feels incredibly nourishing. It's gentle enough that I can use this cream in the morning or night (with sunscreen during the day), which makes it super versatile. If you’re new to retinol, this is an amazing option, it’s effective without being drying or irritating. My skin feels softer, smoother, and more balanced, with a noticeable healthy glow.

I used this product for 10 days in a row, in order to see how it performed. My results are as follows: immediately soft, smoother skin. Over a few days, I noticed the bumps on my chin going away, after a week, I saw improvement in the discoloration on my face, lower cheek area. It’s very easy to apply and soaks in quickly, not greasy at all. It feels really good on the skin. Another bonus, and surprise, is how much product is in the container. It’s a good sized container, and there’s a lot of product in it!! It will last for a long time, so it’s a great value for the money you pay. Since I did use it for multiple days in a row, I did start to see the typical dryness and peeling associated with retinol products. But I would normally just use it a bit less, so that wouldn’t be an issue. Overall I would highly recommend this product!

I really like how smooth and hydrated my skin feels after using this moisturizer. It has a nice texture, absorbs fairly well, and doesn’t have a strong scent, which I appreciate. My skin looks firmer and softer overall. The only downside is that it doesn’t sit well under makeup, it tends to pill or make foundation separate a bit. I prefer to use it at night instead.

Even better, my skin hasn’t had any negative reaction to any of the eight saints products I’ve tried in the past. First impression: Hey neat, this moisturizer truly is scent free! It’s super moisturizing; a little bit goes a long way. Thick and creamy, but doesn’t feel heavy or greasy once applied. Impression after a week of use: I really appreciate the lack of fragrance, especially on migraine days. My skin is happy with this moisturizer. Haven’t noticed much change in appearance of fine lines, but have only been using this for a week thus far. Skin tone and general texture is even and clear. I feel like this little jar will last a long time. Overall, will continue to use this cream & will purchase again!

I’ve been using this Eight Saints retinol cream for a few weeks and I’m honestly loving it so far. It’s fragrance-free (huge for me) and sinks in quickly without feeling heavy or greasy. I also appreciate that it hasn’t irritated my skin at all and I've seen no peeling or redness like I’ve had with other retinol products. I do still follow it with a moisturizer at night just to keep my skin happy. It is a little pricier than drugstore options, but the results feel worth it. If you want a gentle retinol that actually makes a difference, this is a great one to try.

I have used 4 different Eight Saints moisturizers and I love them all! I can't decide on a favorite. Smooth Sailing is rich and creamy and keeps my skin feeling moisturized through the day, even during these winter days in a very dry climate. I like that there is no scent as there is no need for perfumes and unnecessary additives in a moisturizer. This is a gorgeous buttery cream color, unlike some of their other great options which are white. The texture is creamy and feels amazing to put on. Perhaps because this isn't a pure white, it seems to give my skin a glow. It absorbs beautifully into my skin and doesn't feel greasy or cause my skin to be overly shiny. I have sensitive skin and have had no issues with breaking out from using this. This is another amazing product from Eight Saints!
