I couldn’t be happier with this portable monitor—it’s exceeded all my expectations. As someone who works both in the office and out on site, having a reliable second display is a game-changer. This monitor is incredibly lightweight and slim, making it effortless to carry in my laptop bag without adding bulk. Setup is instant as it comes with literally every cable you could to to connect to any device in the box, and it’s compatible with everything I’ve thrown at it—from my laptop to my phone, and the fact it has 2x USB-C ports plus the mini HD port is perfect. The build quality is top-notch. It feels solid and premium, not flimsy like some other portable screens I’ve tried. You can tell it’s made to last, even with regular travel and use in different environments, the kick stand is very sturdy and hold it solid at any angle you wish. Where it really shines is the display itself. The picture is crisp, bright, and razor-sharp. Text is easy to read, colours pop beautifully, and it handles video and gaming like a dream. I’ve plugged in my phone to stream films and play games on the go, and the experience is smooth and immersive—no lag, no dull visuals. Whether you’re a professional needing a second screen or just want a versatile display for entertainment, this monitor delivers in every way, and for the price.. well valve for money would be a understatement, for the price you wont get better. Highly recommended!

Good thing: It works Bad thing: the USB ports are too bad. any slight movement in usb cable, disconnects the monitor. I will not recommend it, as on average, it cannot be used due to the loose USB ports. Both USB ports are the same. any slight movement in connected USB cable, and the monitor disconnects. Update: After speaking to the provider, they offered refund on the product. But I am not sure if the USB problem is universal or it was just mine which was loose. But I can still work with HDMI, and that works fine.

Absolutely fantastic portable monitor! I’ve been using the Newsoul 18.5" Portable Gaming Monitor as a second display for both working and gaming on the go with my Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch, and it has exceeded my expectations in both visuals and ease of use. The 120Hz refresh rate and IPS display deliver crisp, vibrant visuals with super-smooth motion - ideal for productivity and fast-paced games alike. The matte screen is excellent at reducing glare, making it comfortable to use in any lighting. Connecting it to my MacBook couldn’t be easier using just one of the USB-C cables provided which provides both power, video, and audio, resulting in a minimalist and portable setup. The metal stand provides a premium, sturdy feel without adding any bulk, and is a significant upgrade from the plastic stands or floppy cases found on most portable monitors. Switching to FPS mode in the settings boosts the screen to its maximum brightness, which is especially useful in bright environments or when you want to make the visuals really stand out. The monitor is slim and lightweight, making it easy to pack for travel, and the aluminium build quality is excellent with thin all around bezels making it stand out from the crowd. VESA mounting points with included screws allow me to attach this to a monitor arm for home working and all the cables you need are included! This has been a game-changer for my productivity and entertainment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a portable, high-performance second screen!

Used since October on my pc desk as an extra monitor, used for the first time to go 5 mins away by car to my brothers house, in a padded tablet sleeve (had to buy one, doesn’t come with one) and it broke, wasn’t rough with it, didn’t drop it, so it’s a monitor. Cant speak for the portable part. Too fragile. £170 down the drain

Excellent productivity booster! I chose the 18.5 inch model and couldn't be happier. The image quality is great, and the metal frame give reassurance for the durability. The VESA mount at the back allows you to use it as a full time monitor if you wanted, but integrated stand is more than enough. Also if you want to tinker with the colour profile, HDR, Freesync or contrast etc it lets you do that in the settings. I've been using mine for discord and videos whilst doing work and can't tell the difference between my expensive monitor and this portable one. If you are programming or doing assignments you can put it in portrait which allows you to view everything in one screen. If you got a Steam Deck or Switch this is the perfect partner for it, open up the stand plug it in and boom, massive screen to share with your friends. Honestly I can't knock it, better than most permanent monitors with the added benefit of being portable. You can hear everything on the speakers, it comes through clear. If you are on the move, want a bigger screen for gaming or want to increase your productivity you can't got wrong with this. Keep in mind that not all USB-C cables allow for video to be transmitted, so if you are using your own cable you might have issues. But thankfully they supply 2 USB cables with data and video transmission. As well as a Mini-HDMI to full HDMI, so it's' easy and ready to use out of the box.

The place where the mounting screw for a stand was popping out. When attaching it to my stand, it wasn't attached flat and so not fully supported.

A great monitor, bright, clear, light, and does it's job. I would recommend. 😁👍
