Bosch SMS6ZCI10G Series 6, Free-standing dishwasher 60 cm Silver inox

This dishwasher surpassed my expectations. It fits perfectly, sturdy, and so easy to use. The set up instructions can be improved but not too bad. The noise level is as advertised. It is a very quiet machine and doesn’t interfere with my life when working. Design is great and it is cheap to run. There are multiple program selections and i love the visibility of the cost estimate for each program on the app. Love love love it and it has made my life so much easier.

Brilliant dishwasher

To be fair, it isn’t a bad dishwasher, but having had the previous model for over a decade I had very high expectations. The internal design has been modified to have cutlery rack and is a few millimetres out despite spacing being available. No matter how I adjust the top shelf up or down, tall pint glasses just don’t fit in, and nor do some saucers. Sure, it gives a bit of extra space at the bottom for pans, but we use heavily for cups, small plates and bowls and I really miss the cutlery carrier. You also now need to make sure the cutlery is rinsed before putting it in as otherwise it sometimes doesn’t clean as well as the old model.

It is a very quiet model. This is about the third Bosch dishwasher so I am very happy with the brand.

My 15 + year old Bosch dishwasher expired on Christmas eve. This new one is wonderful. I'm very pleased with it. It is easy to use and very quiet and efficient.

I assumed features like internal lighting and automatic door opening were standard in dishwashers, especially in the latest models. Unfortunately, this dishwasher lacks both, which is incredibly disappointing. On top of that, it doesn’t have any quick wash program—the shortest cycle is 1.5 hours. Now, I’m stuck with it.

This machine is doing magic

It's not cheap, but lives up to its promises and cleans and dries absolutely perfectly. Very quiet in operation (quieter than my fridge), and the racks can easily be reconfigured to fit large or awkward items. Controls are simple and straightforward, with no annoying bleeps or silly tunes. Had no issues setting up the Home Connect app, and it's more useful than I imagined it would be. That said, if using the app holds no interest for you, the dishwasher will work just fine out of the box as it already comes. Quality is as you would expect from Bosch. It feels solid and sturdy, everything is well finished, and there are no flimsy bits. Very happy with my choice, it's a big upgrade from my old dishwasher.
