Rubies Women's DC Batman Classic 1966L Catwoman Costume

Great costume!!! True to size, details great, looks like the 1960's. Just a couple tweaks possible if you're a real perfectionist. Size--runs true to size chart! I often have to size down to get things to fit tight, but the small was actually too small, zipped but smashed in (at 37-29-39, 5'5"). Medium was perfect and true to the Rubie's chart for this costume. Still fit great and hourglass-like with a corset, but I got the waist tailored back in for a corseted waist to match the look of the 60's skintight fit. Bodysuit material--a bit irridescent and nice, not crazy metallic. A lighter slinky but opaque material. Not really thick like a polyknit or anything, so you can kind of see the bumps from the corset buttons under, but just where it's really tight; but it still looks great and smooth on. (You can see lines on the old 60's photos too--just how skinight, slinky fabric works.) Gloves are fine, no issues. Not at all matte but not same sparkly as suit. Nails--not claws, boxy modern fake nail shape. I tore--er, gently removed them and am swapping with Spirit Hallowern cat nails just painted gold. Mask--Amazing cut!! True to original. If you have a biggish head, you might need to get an elastic/velcro extender for comfort/no lines in your hair. Ears--match the cut, details of the original--except they're a bit rounder, like a hint of mouse ears. May tailor, deal with, or swap for the basic cat ears. But are same sparkly fabric as your suit, like the 60's ones. Belt--nice! About like a vintage belt of the era, but a less high shine look than those. Feels like a real not costume belt. Lion buckle is perfect. Necklace--costume but totally matches the original! Overall a great value and an incredibly accurate look!! So happy!!

After reading some poor reviews I was hesitant to place my order, but I am so glad I went for it. As soon as I opened the box I could see how expertly it was packaged. The costume arrived hung on a good hanger and secured in a garment bag with full display window in front. The cat suit is of great quality, shiny material that is stretchy and there is a good zipper running the full length in back. The accessories (Ears, mask, gloves with attached nails, necklace, and belt were nicely packaged in a bag in the bottom of the garment bag). The belt is super nice, made of metal with a nice secure fastener with a lion head on it. The necklace is a bit lightweight but still quite nice and matches similar items worn by Juli Newmar(the original cat woman). I am 5'5", weigh 140lbs, 36D bust and hourglass shape and I ordered a medium which fits perfectly but will require a bit of altering. The suit length is a bit short for my torso length and is pulled tightly which somewhat straightens the sides at my waist. I will need to nip the sides in just a bit to get the full effect. Also the neckline is a little bulky so I intend to make is streamline. There are stirrups to keep the suit tucked in and the arm length is superb ending just past the wrist. The gloves are super quality but I will replace the nails, they are too square and too short for me, I want super long pointed nails. I foresee no issues with the ears and do not intend to wear the mask. I recommend without hesitation and will upload a picture after Halloween. My husband is going as the original Bat Man, I can't wait.

Im 5’10” and 150 lb, with a 29” waist. The size medium fit me perfectly, which is surprising based on my height. The arms and legs were definitely long enough. The bottoms of the legs have stirrups which is a nice surprise. I really like the shiny fabric, which is lightweight yet fully opaque. Stretchy metal belt is great. It lays perfectly and has enough stretch to go from a size 6/8 to a size 12 I think. The necklace looks good. It’s mostly plastic, but has metal jump rings so that you could adjust the length if needed. Zippers of the back very easily. The mask fit nicely and comfortably. The only reason I wouldn’t give this five stars is because of the gloves. The gold nails attached to the gloves with glue were flimsy and an un flattering square cut. I replaced them with another set of nailed gloves that I think looked better. The headband with the ears sits nicely, but one of the ears flops backwards and needs some craftiness to stay upright. Overall, a very good costume. The tweaks needed are minor. It’s sexy, but on the elegant side. I’ve added a short skirt to it to make it work appropriate. But I can easily take that off for parties in the evening.

I’m 5’11” and 140 lbs, and ordered a medium based on the size chart and advice from other Amazon customers (I posted a question). Costume arrived quickly and packaged well - it was done in such a way that it was not wrinkled. It came with a hanger and plastic cover, a nice touch for storage. I noticed no odor. Product fit lengthwise for me (I’ve a 34/35 inch inseam) and the material thick and not see through. The legs fit well, not overly tight but tight enough to look similar to the original costume in the series. The sleeves were also long enough for my monkey arms (very long). The rest of the torso was huge. I’m normally a 0-2, if I wanted it to fit, it would have had to be taken in several sizes (I could grab several inches of material on both sides). I’m not sure the material would tolerate such an alteration. The accessories were fine, not the most expensive but doable for a costume. The nails on the gloves were sort of boxy, not catlike. I am returning the item for the fit issues, but the quality of the costume is very good, and I’d recommend to a friend for sure.

La taille correspond à ce que je porte d'ordinaire. La tenue rend très bien. Les seuls bémols ce sont : - les gants, qui laisse des traces noirs sur les doigts qui sont impossibles à laver. Il faut plusieurs jours pour que cela partent complètement car cela se fixe sous les ongles. J'ai pourtant lavé plusieurs (à la main pour le pas l'as abîmer) les gants quand je m'en suis rendu compte. J'ai fini par couper les bouts avec les faux ongles. - le collier qui n'est pas d'aussi bonne qualité que la ceinture. La ceinture est en métal et en rend très bien. Le collier est en. Plastique et fait très cheap à côté.

My girlfriend loves this costume, the quality is great for the price and the belt and suit being particularly so. It looks the part and I'd recommend it to anyone thinking of buying one.

Size came a little bit bigger than what I expected from the guide, but the suit is amazing and the accessories look amazing!

Voll die Frechheit. Alle Accessoires fehlen. War nur der Anzug und da waren der Kleiderbügel und die Kartonage auch noch defekt. Für den Preis ein absolutes No Go

Such a cute costume! It fits perfectly for someone a little over 5 ft. It is not made for taller women, it would be too short in the torso. I love it so much!
