I never thought i wanted "freeze dried" candy, but wow, these are great

My daughter had been begging for these. She really enjoyed them. However, they are not the type of candy you just sit and eat till the bag is empty. The texture is odd, but still enjoyable. If you are looking to try something new and different, give these a try.

I needed an item that cost a couple bucks to finish out an order I needed the following day. Why Amazon, you cleaver little dealers. Amazon suggested these as an item to finish out my order and I figured, why not. Who does like candy. Why not? Boy did I learn why not. Customers beware! If you even have a passing tolerance for skittles, ordering these could quickly spiral into a habit. I opened the package while we were snuggled up watching a movie at home. I popped a piece into my mouth and knew my relationship with candy would never be the same. I am not a big skittles fan, but something about the light airy texture opens up the flavors and makes them melt on your tongue in a whole new way. I was shocked when I reached for another bite to find the bag nearly empty. And now here I am ordering more. I give you this warning, make your own choice, but know that this is definitively a gateway candy. If skittle which are fine are this amazing, I can only imagine the sugar high with my favorite candies similarly treated. I hadn’t understood why this was a new food fad, but now I too am a believer.

I bought the single pack of these at the end of May and loved them so much, I had to go back and buy the bundle. These are hands down my favorite freeze-dried candy—and I’ve tried quite a few! They’re way more flavorful than regular Skittles, and the crunch? Chef’s kiss. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. You won’t regret trying these.

That’s this.It starts off feeling soft-ish — like you're about to chew something fruity and chewy, but your teeth hit this confusing crunchy-yet-crumbly texture that short-circuits your brain. One moment it's candy, the next it's a dessert that forgot what dessert is.Your mouth is like, “Did we just bite into a Jolly Rancher with trust issues?”Meanwhile, your taste buds are filing for emotional compensation.Flavor? Not awful. But the texture’s doing the most. It’s like they couldn’t decide between a cookie, a hard candy, or a lightly sugared building material — so they chose all three.Honestly, I’m still not sure what I ate. But I know I don’t not hate it. Solid 3 stars for being weird, vaguely tasty, and the snack equivalent of a plot twist.
