3M Double Sided Tape Heavy Duty (1IN x 16.5FT)

I wasn’t expecting much more than basic stickiness, but this tape surprised me. It’s solid, heavy-duty, and once it’s on, it’s not going anywhere. I’ve used it for LED strip lights, securing a dash cam in the car, and even for hanging small decor in the house. No peeling, no sliding, no mess. It’s easy to cut to size, the backing comes off without a fight, and it doesn’t leave residue when removed carefully. Just a heads up—make sure you place it where you want it, because the grip is strong right away. Overall, this 3M double-sided tape does exactly what it claims and saves me from drilling holes or dealing with weak adhesives. Definitely worth keeping around for both home and car projects.

Needed to hang up some hue lights after the adhesive wasn’t working on them. This tape did the job perfectly. Held up the lights no problem and haven’t fallen off once in over 2 months. I’d recommend cleaning the surface before placing on

The sticky tape on the wind deflector on the hood of my truck stopped sticking. The deflector was flopping while traveling with the possibility of damaging the paint. I researched some double sided tapes and the 3M stood as a positive. I remover the old tape and cleaned both surfaces. After I applied the 3M Double Sided HD Mounting tape I let it cure overnight. It’s been holding the wind deflector now, with no issues, for a few months. 👍

Works great. You can put stuff on walls with it (it will pull paint off).

Once again 3M adhesive is of the best if not THE best go to adhesive product. I use these to hold my adt sensor in place vs glue. Glue requires time to set but 3M adhesive doesn't. Stick peel and stick. Please these are clay like so you can stretch it to fit. Highly recommend

This tape is great -I have used it to reattach body trim on vehicles. I have also used it outdoors for hanging aluminum signs on my pole barns and on exterior doors in spots where I did not want to drill holes. I have used this type of 3M tape for years and have never had anything come loose. I will often buy more inexpensive generic equivalents of items, but for a strong double sided tape like this I will only buy 3M because it has never let me down.
