These were as described

I do woodworking as a pressure valve for me nothing commercial but I do make things for friends and family and I wanted to be able to put my initials on it so that's where this came in. It came packaged just fine, with no defects, as far as I could see. Getting it out it comes in its wooden box with some gloves, two branding handles, a cleaning brush, and all the letters. It does take a second to heat up but with this being fall it is just another excuse for me to build a fire so I'm happy with that. After getting it heated you just press it down and boom, branded wood. So far this has been great but I've only really used three letters for my initials on the wood.

All of the tack wells broke and you have to hold it with needle nose pliers now wasted money

The kit comes with everything you need short of a heat source. It comes with 4 handles, and an attachable set of letters and number (and some additional symbols). The handles are compatible with other wood burning kits I have used as well.The case is "Ok", but definitely better than nothing. Each letter and number has it's own plastic case however.The gloves it comes with are a throw away item and really don't protect against heat.

Really great way to brand different items. I have been using this branding iron to put a brand on some leather patches to put on hats. Really nice branding iron. Easy to heat up. Gets red hot. Included quite a few letters and numbers and symbols to brand. Made well. Extremely good value.

Use this on various craft projects around my house works great please a nice burn mark on projects
