I’ve used various gasket makers over the years, but the 170g RTV Silicone Gasket Maker has definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and performance. Firstly, the application is smooth and easy, with the silicone dispensing effortlessly from the tube. The 170g size is perfect for automotive repairs, especially if you’re working on multiple gaskets or larger projects like valve covers or timing covers. It also works brilliantly for sealing small gaps in home repairs, such as plumbing leaks, which makes it a versatile option. What stands out about this product is the strength and durability once it’s cured. It creates a strong, flexible seal that withstands high temperatures and pressure, and it holds up well in both automotive engines and industrial settings. I used it on my car’s oil pan, and after several months of driving, I haven't had any leaks or issues. The seal remains intact despite the exposure to heat and vibrations, which is a testament to its reliability. Another feature I appreciate is that it’s designed to be non-corrosive, which adds an extra layer of confidence when using it on metal parts. Additionally, it doesn’t require any additional curing time, and you can continue assembling parts shortly after application. A note of caution, however: make sure you follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the curing time. While the silicone does dry quickly to the touch, it's best to let it sit for a few hours before moving onto further assembly to ensure a strong bond. Overall, I highly recommend the 170g RTV Silicone Gasket Maker for anyone in need of a dependable sealant. Whether you're working on automotive repairs or tackling various sealing tasks at home, this product delivers a professional-level performance that won’t disappoint. It’s a must-have tool in any DIYer's toolkit.

Very nice silicone, I even used it to make a washer on something where the washer broke and it works perfectly. Having separate tubes is great as Silicone can harden after opening and it's wasteful but not with these.
