Great for my HTV heat press
The media could not be loaded. Great item for my heat press. Easy to install and I love that it's on magnets so I can take it off when I don't want it on the press. This makes aligning my htv decals so easy. The light is bright enough to use during the day with bright lights and daylight. Easy to adjust and they don't move around.

Excellent laser guide but not for domestic sewing machines
The media could not be loaded. I was very excited to receive the laser sewing light and looked forward to it saving me time when making half-square triangles. The assembly was easy. There’s no instruction pamphlet included, but the product listing has a video with step-by-step instructions. It’s essential to determine the optimal spot for the laser on your machine. Once you attach the magnet to hold the laser, you can’t move it to a different location. If you try to remove it, it will bend, and it won’t stick securely after being relocated. The magnet that holds the arm with the laser is strong and holds it securely in place. It’s helpful to use the wire tie from the included USB cord to secure the cord to the laser holder. A USB power bank is ideal for powering the laser.Leveling and fine-tuning the laser proved to be a challenge. The laser arm can be adjusted, but precise adjustments is difficult. Using a ruler and patience, I was able to get it leveled, and it worked like a charm to sew my half-square triangles.Overall, I recommend this laser, but not for domestic sewing machines. The arm that holds the laser isn’t long enough for a domestic machine, making it very hard to align it properly. However, it’s a great quality laser that’s useful for other purposes.

Doesn't work for either of my sewing machines. Would be too close to sewing surfaces anyway.
This review is for the Sewing Guide Light Red Cross Hair Module Generator Projector USB for Cloth Fabric Alignment Sewing Machine Quilting. This does not work for either of my machines. I have a Janome and a Brother and the light holder, gooseneck arm, and light itself cannot be installed in any convenient way to work on my machines. The light is too close to the sewing surface, so the crosshair light is fairly wide and it's hard to get the cross-wise light to get lined-up straight. The light would also get in the way for actually sewing. The housing and mount, and gooseneck, are too bulky to fit closely against the sewing machine body, which makes it hard to sew or thread the machine without moving the light. Repositioning would be difficult and any vibration or bump can move the light. The laser light itself works fine. There are actually two complete lights in the package, but only one mount. There are no assembly instructions, but it is easy to figure out. The small tube screws onto the goosneck arm. The light must protrude a little from the tube, otherwise it is awkward to aim and line up the cross hairs. The cord is just long enough to go around the machine and be plugged in next to the machine, but and extension cord is needed if you don't have an outlet near the sewing machine on the table. The USB cord can be plugged into a USB-A outlet as is, or into a standard power outlet using the USB-A-to-AC adapter. This would be a good deal if it worked for a sewing machine, but I'd look further.

Didn’t work for me
I really wanted to like this but it was too short of an arm for my needs. It worked exactly as it should though!
