This could be the most unsafe product available in the market today. I had purchased 4 of this lock for my bathroom doors and got the same installed. My age old mother (74 years) found herself locked inside because the lock failed. I just have my mother and I live in a different city for work. since today morning, I found it difficult to reach my mother on phone (which seemed different/unlikely). After many hours, I reached my neighbor and when they checked they realized that the situation. We had to call a carpenter home to get this fixed. The situation was very stressful and intense for me. My mother is emotionally broken, scared and paranoid through the many hours that she was stuck there. NEVER PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!

Avoid this lock If you don't want to put your family in trouble avoid this cheap lock. I bought two of this for toilets and within 2 months one stopped working, while I was in bathroom and I couldn't open door as its mechanism failed... Never buy anything from online except electrics items.
