The Metamorphosis: by Franz Kafka | Deluxe Edition

This read is highly recommended. His take on existentialism is thought provoking. The physical book itself was slim so it fit in my large pockets and my purse. It was easy to have it along with me to read.

Not the best quality and not the originally written piece. I also found out that the lovely author didn’t want any images of bugs on the cover of Metamorphosis. Please respect him and buy from a reputable source. I did that and I don’t regret it at all.

Came in proper packaging, light reading

This was the second book by Kafka that I read. The first one was The Trial. The Metamorphosis contains the same elements bizarre events and unpredictable and confusing plot. However, once I was finished I was left with a feeling of empathy and compassion for the main character.
