wont spin

Noisy, cheap and poor quality
The media could not be loaded. Bought this for my granddaughter. I'll start with the positives. First, the unit works as it should when I tested it. It's colourful and the sounds and lights are engaging for a 1 year old. Also the price is reasonable and cheaper than a lot of simular products. That said... the problems I have with it are the very, very noisy motor when turned on. Also, as shown in the photo, the seam on the inside of the unit is clearly visible as a thick black vertical bar running from top to bottom. This could have been so easily hidden behind one of the 4 columns on the unit in the manufacturing process. But no... it just looks poor and so annoying. Perhaps they thought this doesn't matter because a 1 year old won't complain about it. Finally, the whole thing feels like it's made of cheap plastic and I suspect that it won't last very long in the hands of a 1 year old... but we shall see. I have also noticed that there are very few recognisable manufacturers names left on this site, like your early learning or fisher price. Take note of the name of the manufacturer of this item... its one of the ever increasing foreign names along with 'Lowda-qwap' and 'Pyla-schitt'. The description also states that it uses AAA batteries, but it actually uses double A batteries. Very misleading. Think twice before buying this (questionable quality) product. I gave it 2 stars because so far... it actually works. I will knock a star off if it lasts less than a month.
