Wanted a new pair of wide plate straighteners to replace my cloud nines. My hair is naturally curly, thick and just below my shoulder and so I’m a bit of a straightening irons aficionado! I had thinner plates before. Previously needed to section and the whole process took too long. With these I discovered I now don’t need to section to get a decent finish and it’s a revelation! Of course sectioning does do a perfect job, but for day to day, they work fine just running over without sectioning. These are definitely more effective than my cloud nine (though I haven’t tested most up to date version of those admittedly) and for a fraction of the price. Heat up within 30 seconds, variable heat control, long cord, Matt finish (so finger marks visible but not an issue for me), no dragging.

These straighteners are great value, my granddaughter thinks they’re better than the expensive ones she has .leaves hair nice and smooth and light to use

I wanted some new hair straighteners so after ready the reviews on the Remington ones I ask my husband to order me a pair The delivery was the next day OMG there absolutely fantastic best straighteners i have had and I’ve had many good brands but these blow them out of the market There light heat up fast and easy to work They leave your hair straight and shinny and do not pull or snag your hair I have long fine hair but you can control the heat setting to wot you want Job done in half the time as my old straighteners They come in a nice box with a heat sleeve to put your straighteners on when you have finished or to put them in the sleeve for travel Would highly recommend and would buy these again 5star product thanks Remington and Amazon Very happy with these

First time I’ve used wide plate straighteners . I’m a long time Remington straightener user as discounts on Amazon are fantastic . But my most recent trusted regular straighteners gave up after 2 years of heavy use , so back to Remington . These wide plate straighteners do a good job with my long , thick hair in half the time …. A good result . They don’t give as much shine to my hair as my previous Remington Argan Oil straighteners , but I just use a few drops of hair oil on my hair after straightening . I do like the time I’m saving using these wide plate straightners , with less sweeps down my hair , so less heat damage . The cord swivels where it joins the straighteners in this model which is good , as several previous Remington straighteners without this feature did wear out the cord connection after a few heavy years use so the straightners didn’t heat up . Overall a decent set of straightners at a reasonable price which do the job in half the time .

I brought these for my mum who previously always used ghds and I have dyson hair straighteners so we was worried that a cheaper brand would be down grading.... we were so wrong! These are wide plates ready to use within 15 seconds and literally glide through your hair. they are so light compared to ours and somehow leave your hair feeling silky and smooth my other straighteners never seemed to make my hair shine and these do. My hair is very long thick and wavy I did have to section it but it does the job well and quickly with no pulling. My mums hair is fine and it did her hair in minutes with no hair loss or breakage. For the price it's a miracle worker and may we both just say it's a big wow from us.

I have very curly hair and roots but the other straighteners i’ve used were thinner which made it last longer to straighten and i have to use the heat 410 which was extremely damaging for my hair. With this straightener i only need to use the heat 200 and it works wonders and makes my hair so much healthier. 🥳 My new fave straightener 🤩🤩
