This hat has a wide brim to keep the sun off of your neck, top of your head, and out of your eyes. It works great and fits well. The material is lightweight for comfort in warmer days. It has a hat band sewn into the hat material in a daisy chain like way so that you can attach small items to it. Fly fishing lures or pins, possibly a golf pencil would all be about the right size to stow there. Finally, it has a thick string attached that goes under your chin and an adjustable fastener to cinch it up to keep it secure in windy conditions. It's well made yet lightweight. I can see how this hat will be my go to during the summer months.

This hat meets basic safari requirements and is easily worth the price, turning into an Australian bush hat with snaps . The only drawback is the chin strap, which is clumsy to operate.

A versatile hat! Lightweight and comfortable. Is one-size-fits-all. Fits my average sized head fine. However, may be a bit snug for a person who has a large head. I especially like the snap feature, allowing me to tack-up one or both sides as needed, whether for sun protection, or for increased visibility. Neck string is handy for securing the hat during blustery winds. Neck string also gives me the option to hang the hat from my neck onto my back when I don't feel like wearing the hat. The hat was a good purchase.

The boonie hats are good hats. I was really hoping that they would be a US military boonie hats. So I will keep them, and I will not be purchasing anymore US military. They do fit comfortable but still not US military grade.

I have been wearing my new hat for several days now and really love it. The brim is a great size to protect my head from the sun. It is very light to wear and fits well. I actually had the hat with me at a recent dermatology office visit and asked the doctor what he thought about hat for sun protection and he said it was really great. I had a small minor issue with the hat and contacted customer service and they got back to me within a few hours with a solution. Really was surprised and greatly appreciated their customer support. Overall, a great hat at a really great price.

This is a pretty good hat for a cheap price. The fit is snug but comfortable, and it does a good job of keeping the hot sun from sun burning my head. On extra hot days this hat really helps with the heat. Great budget boonie hat!!
