Great Manual Coffee Grinder
Sturdy all around metal design with silicon base similar to C2S but a new S2C conical burr which can grind even finer for espresso (C2 lacks this granularity). Comes with a pouch for travel and brush for easy clean up (dont use water!) Got it at ₹6.2k. It might feel like a lot of amount but I wanted to level up my specialty coffee experience by using fresh grinds. Its a value for money grinder for the consistency with which it grinds the beans. Operation is smooth, takes around 30 seconds to grind my 12gm dose (can grind upto ~24gm). It definitely added value to taste I get from my pour over and Aeropress. And future proof when I go for espresso machine.

A Worthy Upgrade — Smooth, Fast & Consistent!
I upgraded to the TIMEMORE Chestnut C3S after using the AGARO Elite Manual Grinder for about six months. Yes, the TIMEMORE is definitely more expensive—but honestly, it’s totally worth it. Right from the first use, I could feel the difference. It’s much smoother, requires noticeably less effort, and is faster than my previous grinder. The biggest upgrade for me is the grind consistency. With the Agaro, even on a coarser setting (I used setting 3 for Moka Pot), I would still get a lot of unwanted fine particles. That made my coffee more bitter than I liked. With the C3S, the grind is clean and consistent—no more random fines sneaking in. The result? My coffee tastes significantly better now, smoother and not bitter anymore. The whole experience feels premium, and honestly… the grinder itself feels kind of sexy to use. If you’re considering upgrading, don’t think twice. This grinder is a solid investment for anyone serious about improving their coffee.

works really welk for espresso
i was really skeptical about purchasing this grinder since majority of the reviews from amazon and youtube showcased that the c3s cannot grind fine enough for espresso without damaging the burrs, but i took the risk and ordered anyway and i am so glad that i did. i currently use an agaro imperial espresso machine and it is a 15 bar entry level machine so naturally all the espresso shots from my previous cheap chinese plastic grinder used to run very fast, but now that i have upgraded to the c3s, on a grind setting of 6-7 clicks it can grind espresso fine enough so that you can achieve one double shot of espresso in around 30 seconds (with 18 grams in and 36 out). on 5 clicks i somehow even managed to choke my grinder so that should tell you of its capability. the entire grinder is made of good quality metal which helps to retain the taste of espresso. it also comes in a premium packaging and feels good to hold and function. in my opinion this is the best manual hand grinder in market based on its price too. hope this helps, i'll also attach images of the grind i can achieve at 6 clicks.

Expensive but worth it
I use an aeropress, and this grinder made it easy to find the right setting for getting a balanced brew without bitterness or tanginess, with good body and clarity. Feels solid, well engineered. The knurling provides for a firm grip. Minimal effort to grind medium dark roast beans. Since I use only one method of brewing daily and the same beans till the lot lasts, do not see the utility of externally adjustable grinders which cost significantly more.

Honest Review from a Home Barista
Have been using it for the past month and it has been a pleasure. It's very easy to use and capable enough to make manual grinding enjoyable. Can be disassembled easily (taking care of the small parts) for cleaning and put back together just as easily.

Absolutely brilliant!
Amazing grinder, especially for the price! It's built really well and grinds beautifully for aeropress. Not sure about finer grinds but it's lovely for my use case. Also came with the metal adjustment dial which is great!

I bought the C2 Max after looking to spend a lot more on a quality mill, but having difficulty finding any in stock that weren't 3x the price. I settled on the C2 as the reviews were fairly good, and I don't mill for espresso. Some appear to have issues with that. For pour over this thing works great with good uniformity and a quick grind. My $30 one this is replacing took forever and constantly lost its grind setting during the mill, leaving a lot of boulders in the result. It was near impossible to dial things in unless going near espresso levels. I'm not a big fan of the lid being attached to the lever, but it shouldn't be a big deal unless one is traveling with it. Even then, a good cleaning or chucking it into a bag should be fine. Compared to my $30 mill, this one is significantly louder, or at least the pitch is higher. Some may not like the grippy texture, but I find it really helpful when powering through my 30g loads. All in all it appears to be well built, has a good weight to it, and does a good job at milling a consistent ground. Sure, it's not a Commandante, but it's also not over $300. If starting out on the hand grinding journey, I'd suggest this over something cheaper made of plastic with ceramic burrs. Yes they are a lower point of entry, but will only dissuade from enjoying milling. This is a good beginner one that will cover the user until they're at the point of stepping up to a much more specialized mill.

Elegant and greatly functional. If you crave a cup of coffee, go for this, amazing grinding options that give very satisfying taste. It has a lot of settings, easy to use and very sturdy. It is my go to when I use the reusable k cups, just add two tea spoons to it, grind, back to the reusable k cup, brew it and enjoy your coffee. I love it
