One of the best nail polishes I’ve ever used, color is beautiful, glides on so smooth and effortlessly, and with a top coat doesn’t chip for up to a week. Very impressed, will alway buy this color and this brand when I run out

This is the longest lasting regular nail polish that I have used. I highly recommend using the top coat with it.

Beautiful dark blue shimmery color beneath the gel top coat, however, another layer of a better top coat is required if you want your polish to stay on more than 3 days. Don’t even think of doing dishes without gloves on or your manicure is toast. Essie needs a better top coat.

So I have long waiting for Essie to release a true black in the Gel Couture Line and I am still waiting because this IS NOT a black. However it is a very dark and VERY ATTRACTIVE dark navy which is still a win. I am rough on my nails so I only have success with the Gel Couture line lasting me more than a day. Highly recommend if you are doing your own mani waiting a full 10 minutes between each coat to allow to air dry for best results. I also would recommend NOT doing your nails within 3 hours of going to bed to avoid smushing what you thought were fully dry nails. But seriously—it's a great color
