Excellent, well made knife.
Made from very thick stainless steel. Solid heavy knife. It has a very sharp edge and cuts with ease. The handle has a full tang and is well shaped and comfortable in the hand. I like the leather sheath, it is well made and it fits the knife very nicely. I would recommend purchasing again after having already received one.

Beautiful and Extremely Sharp
This a beautiful, very well made, very sharp knife. I bought several of these for Christmas gifts this year and they were a huge hit! Bought it for my family white elephant and it was frozen in 4 turns back to back( we have a lot of hunters, fishers, and cooks in our family.) You could easily cut yourself just with getting the wrapper off, so be careful. I bought one for myself after opening the first one to wrap and I can’t wait to use it! I will give and update when I do.

Best knife I’ve ever had!
Absolutely LOVE this knife! It’s comfortable to hold and has a good weight to it. I have arthritis and I’m physically not able to use just any knife in the kitchen and this knife is simply amazing. It would make a wonderful gift. It comes in a beautiful black gift box. Very expensive looking. You can tell a lot of care went into making this knife. It has to have been hand forged and crafted by an expert. It’s beautifully crafted and extremely versatile. It could be used indoors or outdoors, could be used for hunting. I used it to cut meat and vegetables. Extremely sharp!! I love it and I will be buying another one plus I plan to buy the A knife also. I’m excited to try it out cause this one is awesome! Oh and it comes with a real leather sheath that can be used for storage or to attach to a belt which it pretty handy too! Special thank you to the maker for this astounding knife!

Love the knife - the sheath is another story
Very surprised on the weight and heft of the knife yet it is pretty well balanced. (Pic1) The thickness of the full tang tapers down to a reasonably sharp cutting edge right out of the box. Honing it made it on of the sharpest knives I own (and I own quite a few from this price point up to over $300 - $600). The handle though is just slightly smaller than the full robust tang, which means it's possible you could get "sliced" by the tang when using it.This knife should easily gut and skin a deer in short order. The weight and heft should also make a good "cleaver" for cutting meat and bone. Definitely thinking of making this my everyday carry knife especially when hunting/trapping. VERY comfortable in the hand whether blade up or blade down (Pics 2-4). It doesn't seem though that much thought went into the design of the sheath (which I AM going to replace or have hand-made to my specs). If you carry on the right side the button snap release isn't withing reach to easily release the knife. Carrying "cross-draw" also poses the same problem. Additional problems is that the knife can only be carried in an "upright" position and the back edge of the blade catches on the snap itself (Pic5). It would be nice to see an inexpensive sheath similar to the one that comes with the Tom Brown "Tracker" (which I also own) so there are multiple carry options. The knife itself is a GREAT deal for the price and worth every penny.

You'll start finding excuses to use it
Big, heavy, "i hope it doesn't fall on my toes" kinda feeling when you lift it up. Cuts a pizza faster than a pizza slicer and dices up meat like an onion. I really didn't need this but it actually makes the annoying cutting part of cooking fun.

Perfect for spatchcocking
Bought this for my dad to spatchcock the turkey for thanksgiving because he got tired of using meat sheers and he barley had to use any force to cut the the chest bone!

I was looking for an affordable outdoor cleaver/hunting knife, and here it is
Pros: - cheap - works for chopping veggies for salads outdoor - has a sheath - comes sharp - 5mm thick, not easy to abuse Cons: - the steel is soft, I easily scratch it by Opinel carbon. But it is reasonably hard to keep the edge and make re-honing easy - comes with ~25 degrees edge. I re-sharpened it to 17 degrees to allow for angling mistakes when using a rod hone - blade grind is hollow, which has no reason here except for aesthetics. Chopping, which was the main reason why I bought this knife, would go easier if the grind is either full convex or full flat. - the 'forging' traces are actually imitation made by a set of puncheons. Nice anyway but not practical. Overall, the knife is excellent for the money.

Great feel in the hand and nice addition to my kitchen as a meat knife. one of the first knives I have ever bought that I did not put right on a sharpening stone. usually I go up to 8000 on a wet stone but this was pretty good out of the box. looks pretty cool too so that is a bonus.
