Vgate iCar Pro 2S Bluetooth 5.2 OBD2 Car Scan Tool for iPhone, Android, and Windows

Works great for my 2019 Mini and 2004 BMW to connect with BimmerCode and BimmerLink. It also connects to my CarScanner for my other vehicles as well. Instruction manual was clear and easy to connect with WiFi and Bluetooth to my phone. All the features works as it should. Very simple and highly recommend.

This will be the 4th OBD2 scanner I've bought for my car to use through iPhone and hopefully CarPlay. The previous 3 all ended up killing my battery overnight or within a few days due to either just staying on all the time or searching for a connection all the time. I had given up and thought maybe I would just have to remember to unplug it every night and then I found this one. Not only does this product connect immediately and without effort, the speed is extremely fast, the number of PID information is enormous, and it isn't the most expensive either. I paired this with CarScanner PRO ELM app and it is amazing. Perfect layout on the phone and even displays data, live data, on the car screen via CarPlay as well. And that data can be customized too. Lastly, quite possibly the best part, I can leave it plugged in all the time. After 30 minutes or so, you can see the light on it turn off and it no longer searches. The app I use will wake it up when the car is started and immediately connects again without issue. It's unfortunate that it took so many tries to get this to work but I finally found the right combination. Hope this helps!

Great item. Works perfectly and does both ruin your car. Allows the linked app to read all of the cars data.

Works well with Car Scanner ELM. Looks well made and refined. Two issues: 1. Does NOT work with CVTz50. Don’t know why. Maybe firmware 2. Does NOT automatically reconnect after restart. I have to manually unplug and plug in for successful connection.

Works great and love that it turns off when not in use. Very small and unobtrusive. Connected to Car Scanner app on my iPhone easily and quickly

I had an error code on my 2003 Nissan Altima that I needed to check out and clear. The box came with instructions and a list of recommended apps for my phone (Android). I downloaded Car Scanner, plugged the reader into the port, connected my phone to the reader, retrieved the error, and cleared it. The whole process took a few minutes from initial setup to clearing the error. Super easy. Minor evap leak, fixed with a replacement gas cap if you are curious. Definitely worth having, and easier than borrowing one from the auto parts stores.

I leave this plugged into my car full time. It's one of the few that is smart enough to go to sleep and not kill your battery. The Bluetooth connectivity is strong and solid. I have it paired to my Android headunit and it paired in quickly with Car Scanner and Torque. It can read transmission codes on my 8th Gen Civic, which didnt seem to work with the previous two generic scanners I've tried. It works very well, and seems much more compatible and just plain better than the other elm327 clones I've used. Short of a dedicated scan tool, this is likely as good as it gets.
