I've only used them for two meals so far, but I can tell I'll be using them for many gatherings to come. The good: - S-h-a-r-p out of the box. A no-brainer, but I've gotten some kitchen knives with edges I had to finish. - Designed really well. Comfortable to hold. Good length blade. Plain edge, so I can keep them sharp. Full-length tang, and contoured scales. - Very nice embellishments on the spine and bolster The less good: - Made from less convenient steel. If you leave a knife in the sink for 3 days, it will rust, and you don't deserve knives. Wipe off the blade and put it away. - The scales aren't finished with a clear plastic, so to keep them looking their best, they should be dried after washing. If like me, you prefer sharp knives that are functional and beautiful, these are great! If you put your kitchen knives in the dishwasher, find something else.

My sister had them and as soon as I saw them I knew I had to get them. They were a present for my fiancé and he loves them too. They are a beautifully designed solid knives that make an easy job of cutting through steak. They feel special when you hold them if that makes sense? Definitely planning to bring them out next time we make steak for guests. Haven't seen anything quite like them before.

Great quality. I was worried when I saw the blade was not serrated but they are very sharp and effective. Beautiful in person. Definitely recommend.
