Kerasilk Strengthening Set with Liquid Cutitle Filler, 125ml and Strengthening Mask, 200ml : desertcart.co.uk: Beauty Review: Lovey products but arrived box damaged - The product listing doesn't state the ingredients, so here they are: KERASILK LIQUID CUTICLE FILLER: Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Alcohol Denat., Benzyl Alcohol, Dipropylene Glycol, Polysilicone-29, Panthenol, Lactic Acid, Glycerin, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract, Nymphaea Caerulea Flower Extract, Lactobacillus Ferment, Sodium Metabisulfite, Potassium Sorbate, Sorbic Acid, Fragrance/Parfum. Fragrance Ingredients: Dipropylene Glycol, Methyldihydrojasmonate, Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, Ethyl Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Isobutyl Methyl Tetrahydropyaranol, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalyl Acetate, Ethylene Brassylate, Vanillin, Cyclamen Aldehyde, Ethyl Maltol, Benzyl Acetate, Octahydrocoumarine, Isopropyl Myristate, Ethyl Vanillin, Sandalore, Geraniol, 2-T-Butylcyclohexyl Acetate, 8-Cyclohexadecen-1-One, Cis-3-Hexenyl Salicylate, P Menthan-7-Ol, Delta Damascone, Methylenedioxyphenyl Methylpropanal. KERASILK RECOVERY MASK: Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Cetyl Esters, Dipropylene Glycol, Polyquaternium-37, Panthenol, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Lauryl Glucoside, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Lactic Acid, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract, Tocopherol, Lactobacillus Ferment, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance/Parfum, Hexyl Cinnamal. The products smell amazing and left my hair super soft and sleek. My hair is prone to frizz when it gets wet or in high humidity and the cuticle filler has helped a lot. I use the cuticle filler after each wash and the recovery mask every 5 or so washes. Even though the cuticle filler isn’t washed out, it doesn’t make my hair feel weighed down. The main issue I had was the packaging. The brand is trying to be more eco-friendly and reduce its use of plastic, which I really like. But because of that, the outer box was stained and damaged. If I were buying this for a gift, I would need to return it for a refund or exchange, which isn’t good for the environment at all. This isn’t the first brand that I’ve had this issue with, so it seems to be becoming more common. Still, the internal products were safe. Review: Gift box dirty and damaged - This was a gift but the box looked dirty and damaged despite the outer box being untouched I couldn't possibly give history anyone.

Products benefits did not match the high cost, but I still loved using it!
I really enjoyed using this Kerasilk recovery set, although I wish a bottle of shampoo had been included to complete the indulgent experience. It didn't have quite the same luxury feel, applying such an expensive product after using my Pantene shampoo. After shampooing, I squeezed out as much excess moisture from my hair as possible, then applied good dollop of recovery mask throughout the length of my hair. It's a little fiddly removing the plastic cover underneath the screw lid while in the shower. I would have preferred a pump dispenser, as with this product you have to dip your wet fingers into the jar, then try not to let any water from the shower get into it before you can get the lid back on. The mask has a fairly thick texture, and definitely smells like a premium salon quality product. The fragrance is not overpowering, smells really gorgeous, but doesn't last for as long as I would have liked. I left the product on my hair for 8-10 minutes, while I continued with my shower. After leaving my hair to dry naturally, until it was just damp all over, I applied the liquid cuticle filler. This is a spray-on product, and does not have the same luxurious fragrance as the hair mask. You can smell the alcohol in the spray, and it smells similar to a salon hairspray. Once my hair was fully dry, I could definitely see a difference and how smooth and sleek my hair looked compared to normal. It was much less frizzy. However, in my opinion, the level of difference seen was not enough to justify the price of this product. I did not see the benefits of the liquid cuticle filler for more than two washes, so the benefits were not as long-lasting as I had hoped they would be. I absolutely, without any doubt, enjoyed using this product. However, my enjoyment was probably more down to the fact that it felt so frivolous and extravagant to be using something I would never buy myself at that price. A lot of the overall cost has obviously gone into the packaging, which also seems so wasteful when most people are just going to throw it away. The set comes in a vastly oversized box, which is incredibly solid and thick, and looks like it will last for years. It seems such a shame to throw it away, so I will keep mine for storing craft items or photographs. I think that true luxury items speak for themselves, and don’t need such large and fancy packaging to try to boost the perceived value. A smaller product box, that you feel comfortable throwing away, and a lower price for the product, can still feel just as luxurious for a product that delivers. Overall, this set of products definitely does offer some hair texture improvements, the benefits are not long-lasting, the fragrance is not long-lasting, the packaging is excessive, and the price is excessive. I loved the thought of using something so ridiculously expensive more than the benefits it offered, and I would not choose to buy this myself unless it was sensibly priced.

Bit pricey
Quite expensive for what you get. My hair feels alot the better the day of and after use. However, come the next day it's just back to normal so the benefits are very short lived and not long lasting at all. The smell is lovely but I would expect it to improve my hair after using over a period of time but this is not the case at all.
