Great cameras for the UniFi ecosystem.
Fantastic value if you are in the UniFi system. Easy to set up and install. Great picture quality and has some very useful features.

Best bang for buck
I have been using unifi both for personal and professional use. I’ve deployed over 50 set ups and these cameras are excellent bang for buck. Not much else beats them for price to performance and ease of use. The only downside is the camera needs a mounting box.

G5 Turret
Having G3 Flex cameras and G4 bullets, this G5 Turret is excellent! Big step up in quality from the Flex cameras. I would definitely recommended it to anyone using Unifi equipment.

Easy to setup However, you may need a back box for the wiring. Decent quality image.

Great value, works well.
Good value for money. The camera is free rotating in the socket so you can mount horizontally or vertically and still have it pointing in the direction you want. Not PTZ for anyone thinking it may be. Connection is RJ45, and will need a box or otherwise to put that in as there is insufficient room behind the camera when mounted to have the connector and cable hidden (though the connection is waterproof, just nice to not have it exposed).

This was a purchase due to lack of inventory at other sources, so happy that is was almost the same price and delivery was good.

Wat een prachtige camera, aan alles is gedacht. Zeer compleet, beeld is super en installatie een makkie! Absolute aanrader wanneer je al beschikt over een UbiQuiti Cloudkey. Letterlijk plug and play!

Ich habe die UniFi G5 Ultra als Ergänzung zu meiner UDM SE im Einsatz – fügt sich nahtlos in UniFi Protect ein und liefert für den Preis richtig starke Ergebnisse. Pro: Sehr gute Bildqualität: 2K (4 MP, 2688×1512) bei 30 FPS – tagsüber knackig, nachts dank IR-Nachtsicht klar. Weites Sichtfeld: etwa 102° horizontal – ideal für Einfahrt oder Garten. Ein Kabel reicht: PoE für Strom & Netzwerk; geringer Verbrauch. Smarte Ereignisse: AI-Erkennung (Personen/Fahrzeuge) reduziert Fehlalarme deutlich. Robust & unauffällig: Turret-Variante wetterfest (IP66) und vandalismusresistent; Dome-Variante extrem kompakt für drinnen. Mikrofon an Bord: Tonaufzeichnung möglich (wo rechtlich zulässig). Contra: Nur H.264: Keine H.265-Option – benötigt etwas mehr Speicher/Bandbreite. Zubehör optional: Für saubere Außenmontage lohnt sich eine passende Junction Box (Mehrkosten). UniFi-Bindung: Ohne UniFi Protect (NVR/UDM SE/UNVR) weniger „plug-and-play“. Praxistipp: Für draußen die G5 Turret Ultra wählen (wetterfest, gute IR-Reichweite); für drinnen die G5 Dome Ultra (sehr flach, unauffällig). Beide laufen mit PoE stabil und fügen sich nahtlos in die Protect-App ein. Fazit: Starke 2K-Bildqualität, PoE-Ein-Kabel-Komfort und gute AI-Events – die G5 Ultra ist im UniFi-Ökosystem eine klare Empfehlung. Wer maximale Speicher-Effizienz (H.265) sucht, macht Abstriche; ansonsten: kaufen!
