The Higround Trailhead Black Ice is my 4th gaming keyboard (previously using the Keychron 81 Pro) and my 1st Keyboard from Higround! From right out the box I know this keyboard will be a game-changer in both my gaming and work setup! I’m a travel Filmmaker/VFX Compositor so I edit a lot on the go, and most of the time editing on a laptop built-in keyboard is quite frustrating. I really like how the Trailhead is small, which makes it so easy to take it with me everywhere I go. Yes it’s very compact but still has everything I need! A must for creators/gamers who travels non-stop! About the design: I really love it. The build quality is solid! It’s very sleek and premium, making it aesthetically fits into my PC setup without taking too much space. I can tell Higround really puts a lot of thoughts into creating this masterpiece. When I was messing around the different RGB mode (specifically customizing my own RGB style), I noticed the colors are very vibrant and bright which was very pleasing to the eye. It provides variety of colors to choose from, and when mixed together, the colors just transition to another very nicely. I also really enjoy the hot-swappable feature. Thats a huge plus for me (who loves to change themes) and especially for other people who love to customize their keyboards overtime. I also love that it’s pre-lubed! It feels godly whenever I typed, it gives that satisfying creamy and thocky sound that’s not too loud, making it more fun to type. It also makes it easier to use in a quiet environment like the library, cafe, or office without distracting any people around. For $99? Say less, take my money! It’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for a high-performance, compact, aesthetically pleasing customizable keyboard!

As a keyboard enthusiast who’s bought and built many keyboards, I’m always looking for unique designs, which led me to Higround. I kept seeing their keyboards on Instagram and TikTok, so I decided to try the Trailhead Snowstone - and I’m blown away. For their most affordable model, the quality is impressive. The switches come perfectly lubed, and the stabilizers are solid, producing a clean “thock” sound with every key press. The Snowstone’s minimalist design and easy-to-manage RGB make it versatile for both work and gaming. Highly recommend this keyboard for anyone looking to add style and functionality to their setup!

The Higround Trailhead keyboard is actually as good as it looks. The design is super cool—it’s got this outdoorsy vibe that looks great on my desk. Typing on it feels amazing; the switches are nice and clicky but not too loud, which is perfect for both gaming and just chilling with friends in discord. The RGB lighting is on point, with all kinds of customization options to get the look just right. It’s also really solid and has a quality feel, so I’m confident it’ll last through tons of gaming sessions. Overall, it’s definitely one of the best keyboards I’ve used.

The size might be controversial but I love how small and minimal it is! The keyboard takes up very little space on my desk and allows my mouse to have a ton of space. The keyboard itself is great and the white color matches my NZXT H1 case perfectly. The RGB is great and really pops with the white keyboard. My favorite lighting mode is lightbike as you can see in my video. There are so many options to choose from for RGB lighting, there is something for everyone. The switches themselves sound great and feel even better. See my video for that nice sound. The actuation is crisp and registers really early in the travel. Overall this keyboard is really great, also there are multimedia keys with fn + j or k or L for volume which is a nice touch.

I picked up the Higround Trailhead Mechanical Keyboard, and honestly, it’s become my favorite part of my setup. The build feels super solid, and the design adds this really clean look to my desk. The hot-swappable switches are such a cool feature too – I love being able to mix up the feel of the keys whenever I want. Typing on this thing is just satisfying. Every keystroke feels responsive and crisp, which is awesome for both gaming and just everyday use. The RGB lighting is vibrant without being distracting, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Want to start by saying the keyboard is amazing in the way it functions. The sound is amazing and the feel of the keys is great. The reason my review is low is because of all the issues with the product itself. Within the first week of having the keyboard 3 keys stopped working fully. This fixed after I swapped the switches but I shouldn’t have to do that on a new keyboard. Now I have had this keyboard for a few months and half of the rgb is out on it.

Coming from someone who usually only buys cheaper keyboards, I recently upgraded to the Higround mechanical keyboard. This is the aesthetic and functional tool I didn’t know I needed! It perfectly pairs with my white setup with beautiful yet minimalistic LED lights. I love the text on the edge of the keys, really cleans up the visuals of my space. The keys are the right balance of satisfying clicks and quiet sound. I also really enjoy the layout, super user friendly, and also the ability to personalize my keyboard. In terms of durability, I would trust this keyboard from Higround to last several years. Unlike cheaper alternatives, this is made extremely well and won’t break under use. Overall, I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking to improve their computer setup, both functionally and aesthetically.

My first introduction to higrounds line of keyboards and it really does type well. Feels really good to type on and sounds even better. Only complaint is that the keycaps don't really seem black they seem more navy blue when you really look at them. It was one of the first things I noticed when i opened it but it really does type well.

This was a gift for my 11 year old son. He researched for weeks and decided on this one. He absolutely loves it. A real gamer keyboard. It is very compact and it lights up to color and pattern of your choice. It is pretty cool.

Great value, incredible build quality, completely plug-and-play, no drivers required. Very functional, easy to type but wrist rest is needed. Rgbs are beautiful and bright,
