My son is obsessed with ghostbusters. This was an impulse purchase that turned into a big hit.

Looks just like pictured, heavy die cast metal.

When I received it, immediately thought it was a bit small for 1:24 scale. The length of the real Ecto-1 is 21 feet. If this scale model was 1:24 it would be 10.5 inches. But this scale model of Ecto-1 is actually shy of 9 inches which makes it about 1:28 scale. That's the reason I deducted 1 star. Seems like Jada Toys makes all their 1/24 scales about 8-9 inches regardless of actual vehicle size, so on display it may look odd, when coupes and wagons are almost the same size. Size aside, this is actually a good scale of Ecto-1 on the outside. The sculpt of the Cadillac Miller-Meteor is quite decent, with nicely painted die-cast. A decent modeler could add a few more touches of paint to the door handles and the electronics atop the vehicle to bring out even more details. The hood, front doors, and trunk door opens to allow better inspection of the interior. The interior is just black plastic without much detail to match the movies. Overall, makes a nice gift for The Ghostbusters fan at under $30.
