TOYOTA Genuine 68290-35031 Door Glass Weatherstrip Assembly

It is a perfect fit for the 03-09 4th generation 4runners. Mine is an 07, was partially disenigrated at purchase (of the vehicle) fully disenigrated after a few AZ summers. Thankfully it does not rain much here. The vehicle itself is original to AZ, though it was purchased in similar climate in SoCA. Never even realized it was supposed to be like this. Package arrived earlier than expected. (4 hrs earlier than it said it would). It's a perfect fit. Removal and install takes less than 5 mins. You just need to roll down the hatch window fully. Then gently pry it off (it pops out) then install new replacement is the opposite. (Snaps right in. Be careful not to be too forceful, as the dock for the rear wiper partially goes behind the weather strip and is only held on by adhesive on the hatch itself) My only gripe is price. Because $42 for a weather strip is sorta pricey. But I suppose worth it in the end, since it's a toyota genuine part. Exact match. Wish I done it sooner to be honest, as I do have some chicken scratches (though not easily visible unless you REALLY look for them) in the glass itself, and think it's mostly because my old one disenigrated and the sand and whatnot just gets grinded into it, whenever it's used. The new piece has felt inside that not only sorta helps keep debri out, but also prevents such things. Didn't think I would be this excited replacing such a thing, but idk, made me feel really really good with this new strip installed. Lol.

Perfect fit for a 2007 4runner although Amazon says it doesn't fit. The official Toyota dealer parts match says it does fit. So, 2006-2009 and probably back to 2003ish Toyota 4Runner. Beyond EASY to pop up and remove the old one and install the new unit. Couple minutes, can't be any easier. And.... EXACT replacement for the T4R. Check the condition of the one in your vehicle, the fall apart and it is not obvious. Then, water getting in there cause all sorts of issues with the window mechanism, like failure and maybe worse yet, randomly rolling the window down in the rain when vehicle is turned off and unattended! Sadly, once it all has been wet, the mechanism might be damaged already. So, check yours. Shipped VERY safely in a heavy tube, perfection. And, the price is appropriate since it's free shipping.

Like a lot of people, I had this swishing in my door after the last torrential rains. Opened the back and water poured out. Found this little lovely. Roll down your window, take off the old one, put the new one on. Seriously took more time to get the old one out than put this one in. Window works like a charm (that fear that it was so easy when the window rolls up the new part will come off with it). Heading for the car wash and we'll see how it all goes.

The quality is very good. Installation was quick and easy. The window weatherstripping is like a new vehicle again. For what this is, the price is absolutely ridiculous. If I could find a decent third party option I would have been morally obligated to purchase it rather than be a willing participant in a victim initiated robbery. This can only be viewed as a value when considering that tree debris falling inside the door and plugging up the weep holes at the bottom and rain sloshing inside the door would destroy a $300 rear door latching mechanism and window controller, plus the added cost of labor to replace it. In that sense, it's a value, but only in that sense.

I noticed a ton of water collecting in my trunk of my 07 4Runner. Did some research and found that this seal gets old so I decided to replace it. Taking it out of the package it is slightly shorter than my broken one. But it did its job. Fits perfectly for being shorter and no more water in my trunk door.
