Wanted a magnolia Saya for a Nakiri knife recently purchased from Japan. This Saya fits well and will keep the knife edge from rusting. Also protects the knife from contact damage.

it's a good protective knife cover/sheath, the only issue is that the little plastic piece gets wedged in a little bit too tightly. i usually end up having to "hammer" it out with something else or tapping it on the counter i like to have this since i don't want one of those knife blocks and i'm weary of those magnetic strips since we have a cat that likes to jump up on counters and such. so being able to have a sheath like this to store in a drawer is way better.

Not sure what all to say but it is well made, looks classy, and offers the highest practical levels of protection. It is also more satisfying to use than cheaper blade protectors.
