Nice n Spicy Fatty - High-Protein Beef Snack, 1000g (2 x 500g)

Spiciness has a nice hit, not too pronounced. The fatty element is quite good for you. Good high protein shot for the body when you get sweet cravings. Which is what I use it for.

It had no Fat & was not spicy. Very bland & disappointing.

Excellent, excellent biltong. Nice and fatty and very fresh. Only reason for taking off a star (which is a bit unfair by me) is that there we almost no hot spice in the flavouring. It was extremely tasty but not any chilli spice. But excellent biltong.

Let's start with the positives. This biltong is very tasty, texture and flavour are top par. The negatives. I ordered the nice and spicy + fatty version. In the pack that I had there were very few pieces with fat on. My other issue is that there was no spiciness at all. It's not a case that it wasn't as spicy as I expected, there was literally nothing spicy in the packet. I'm wondering if I received a mislabeled bag!? But, like I said it was very tasty, but not the type of biltong that I was expecting. It would be a five star product if it had the expected fat and spice. In fact, if I'd ordered just a normal pack I would have no complaints at all. Oh well.

I had really high hopes for this product by the photos and description but it just didnt hit the mark. I am eating it though, its not inedible...just very meh. The picture clearly shows thick slices with pink "rare" bits (i dont know the proper term, but I appreciate it is air dried) with big thick bits of fat on them. This isnt really what I have been delivered at all. Its all very dark brown like its been cut from the outside of the piece of beef, some pieces are so dry and chewy they are not like biltong at all. Some pieces are really thin, so thin that they are really flakey and theres a lot of tiny bits at the bottom of the packet. There seems to be a lot of grease in the packet but virtually no fatty pieces...thats the best bit! Any fatty looking bits end up being full of sinew so super chewy and have to be spat out. There is almost no flavouring, just really salty (though I appreciate its cured so to be expected), not spicy at all. Its ok. But not £7+/100g good.
