Absolutely amazing book with links to videos via photo reader of QR codes in the book. There are 25 vidios and 78 audio tracks. Its fun, as he teaches how to read tablature, but also how to have fun just improvising and jamming to his guitar. Great for kids and adults.

Decent effort as an instructional book.

Great for a beginner and I do agree with a lot of the information it provides.

This is a very good introduction to the harmonica, with many helpful and entertaining videos to supplement the written word. (It's also fun to listen to the Russian, which I studied long ago.) The only problem is, I cannot get my harmonicas to sound like that!

I have tried several other online harmonica courses. None was as clear and concise as this one. In addition to the paper book, there are 25 videos that you can watch on YouTube or download right to your PC. I had a bit of harmonica experience, so I was able to improvise quite well once I got through the book and videos. It took me about 4-5 days, and I took my time. If you keep practicing what you learn, you will be able to play the harp confidently.

This is a downtown earth book that is easy to understand.

I think this book is written well for beginning harmonica. The text instruction is clear. I give it 3 stars for the text. However, the embedded QR codes taking the student to the accompanying URL links, takes you to non-English audio instruction. There is English captioning at the bottom of the video, but the whole point of harmonica instruction is to play along and watch the instructor and having to read subtitles puts a damper on the whole learning experience. Not to be an English-speaking prude, but there is no mention that the companion audio instruction is not in English while the text clearly is; and in concise, clear English at that. I find this unconscionable for any purchaser trying to find online instruction as well as the text. I'll keep this book since it is a decent reference text. However, 'll get me video/audio instruction elsewhere. Overall; disappointed.

It does what is says on the tin

This book worked great for my teen daughter. She is already taking music lessons so it was a great and cheap way to introduce new instrument. She finds steps easy to follow and enjoys herself while learning

Brilliant

Only just started but i like it and it makes me want to persist. But, the most important instruction he gave me was just to “ play around” with it, so making me think i’m still following his lessons if i pick it up when i’ve got a spare 5 minutes!
