I really like the quality and features of this unit after owning many others. Easy to install and easy to use. Pretty good usable resolution on the image. Works automatically and does not require manual intervention unless you want to download the images

Have been using this dash cam for several months. Have been able to look at the videos on my laptop with no issues. Quite responsive to jolts as it recognizes the jolt as a potential accident. Did upgrade to a larger capacity card. Installation of the front camera (was able to tuck the wire into the roof lining) was easier than the back. For the back, bought small stick on clips and mounted them to the inside roof to run the wire from the rear window camera to the front camera. If there is a rear camera with blue tooth connection (cost may be key) the to the front camera, that would be great to avoid running the wires.

EDIT: We now have hard Edit: Had good support when dealing with an issue related to the rear camera. The app can be a little confusing. EDIT: It turns out that Wi-Fi is the primary method for connecting this phone to the app. Bluetooth is just used as part of that process. It does mean that in order to use the app, you still need to be connected to the cameras Wi-Fi I had a second problem with the SD card failing after not even a day of use, but I did contact support and they are sending a new one. So kudos to support for that. The camera itself works well. The pictures are clear and in one minute chunks, so if you do need to download for an incident, you'd probably want to make note of what time it is when it happened. All in all is a good camera system. I've only installed it with the USB power, , so have not had a chance to try it out while hardwired. The images are clear, so no complaint there. It was fairly easy for me to get installed both on the front and rear cameras. They include clear stickers so that the camera can be removed if necessary at a later point without leaving adhesive stuff to the windshield. No problems with them staying on while driving. The camera itself --and support-- get five stars, but I wish they would address the lack of true Bluetooth connection to the app (Android) I would recommend it for the price. Very pleased with this camera, especially for the price. Picture quality, installation, ease of use all good. The camera feels sturdy and solid, not flimsy and cheap like I was expecting for this price point. Mine came in with a defective sd card, but the company sent a new one out right away with no issues. Customer support is top notch.

Does not connect well to your phone to download videos. Also, it is not a seamless and continuous recording. I was in a crash this morning and the camera recorded 26 seconds out of the minute interval. Then it picked back up at one minute. The crash occurred during the 34 seconds of the camera not recording anything. This is the 2nd unit the manufacturer has sent me due to warranty issues and they are all the same. It's a gamble if it's going to work or not when you need it most. I will never buy another.

Nice quality and works well. The connection is wireless, not bluetooth, which is a little misleading. The device uses bluetooth to establish a wireless connection according to the company.

I Bought this dashcam along with the hardwire kit for my car. As I began the installation I realized I had ordered the incorrect hardwire kit (micro USB vs. USB-C connector). I immediately emailed the customer service address and explained the problem. I was amazed to receive an answer within 2 hours asking for shipping information for the correct part. Two days later I had the correct part. Now that's GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have installed the dash cam with the hardwire kit and the camera is high resolution and working as promised. I upgraded the 64gb SD card to a 256gb for better storage. I will soon install the rear facing camera and suspect I will be equally happy with it's picture quality and ease of installation. To sum up, the MioFive S1 Ultra is a high quality dash cam that installs easily and performs well in it's function as a dash cam. Add to that, outstanding customer service and you have a great deal.

I had to return because it was not compatible with my Honda CR-V which was listed in my Amazon Garage.
