Rose Plant Live, Fragrant Heirloom Flower Bush, 5-10 Inch Tall, Grows as Climbing or Shrub for Outdoor Garden, No Pot (Blue Rose)

Received on Sept 21 in poor condition. It was tiny and leaves were partially black. I planted in a terracotta pot that was not too big and not too small. I added some plant food, put it next to my other potted and thriving roses and crossed my fingers. Gradually all the leaves fell off and the black started creeping down the limbs until it was completely dead. It only lasted 4 weeks. Now, this is Alabama and even though it’s October, it’s still 80s daily and 60s nightly. Cannot blame the weather, especially when my other potted roses are still blooming and happy. This was an unhealthy, scraggly thing to begin with. I will never order from this vender again.

The rose arrived about two weeks ago and looked quite 'sickly'. It had a small blossom. I planted it in a sunny spot in a pot on my front stairs and now that blossom has fully opened. It is NOT as pictured but just a plain light pink. If future blossoms look like the the one in the photo I will post an update. I can not detect any scent.Update - 3 weeks later: the plant never really recovered. It is still alive but looks 3/4 of the little leaves are brown. I changed my original 3 star rating to 1 star. Still have some hope that it will survive. My other roses do very well!

The media could not be loaded. I thought I ordered a starter rose bush but what came in was only a twig. Money down the drain.
