I'll admit I only purchased one box to start a project, thinking these might be too flimsy for keeping digging critters out from under my shed. But they are surprisingly sturdy. I hammered them in with a regular steel claw hammer, and they all went in fine. I hit a few rocks along the way and had to poke around with a long screwdriver to find them and dig them out. Those minor obstacles are to be expected. When pounding these in, I sort of "rocked" it side-to-side by alternating back and forth with the hammer near each end. The most satisfying part was coming back multiple times over several weeks to see something (I think a rabbit that I've seen around here) had tried to dig under the fence and gave up every time. Finally no more critters under the shed. Value for money: Seems to be a very good option for a budget-friendly application. I have also purchased and used the more expensive "name brand" version and those work very well too. But I haven't had any issues with this product. works great. Ease of installation: Surprisingly easy installation, and only requires a hammer and some time.

Love these! Was going to cost an arm and a leg to replace our questionable fence, but two packs of these things were able to guard off all the iffy spots sufficiently. Also work well for an area we didn't quite know how to manage, which is under our shed. It's on a raised foundation, so our puppy would try to crawl under it. We lined the whole bottom edge with these, and there's nothing to worry about anymore. They're perhaps a tiny bit flimsy, but it depends on how much you care about looks I guess. The grates up top will not deform at all, it's just that the prongs that stick into the ground are so long that it's easy for them to give to the side a bit when putting them in the ground. They are plenty sturdy to deter my 30 lb dog and we're installed easily, they just maybe don't go in super straight naturally due to the construction. So they're fully functional up top and I'm happy for my purposes, but you might need to be more careful during installation if you want them to look a little cleaner all the way at the bottom.

I believe this is a good product. They havnt broken or bent. I used 8 of them to secure a chain link fence to the ground. All but 1 has stayed secure but the 1 was worked at by my husky and she pulled it half the way out. I might consider this doubling as a dog brain game or something. The husky slept better that night.

I was having a problem with groundhogs in my backyard. I purchased these to try to prevent them from burrowing under my fencer. They were easy to install, and the height was just right.So far, it seems to be working. Looks like it was a good purchase.

This is a wonderful product. It prevents the dogs from digging into my backyard. I am also able to keep the bunnies away from my summer harvest. Great product to purchase!

I ordered three orders of these on June 16th and they were delivered June 21st. I put them in around the garden on June 30th. It is now July 7th and after 7 days in summer in New York (so by no means the harshest of environments) they're rusting. For what it's worth, they have been effective at deterring my groundhog and I was impressed that they came with zip tie clippers, zip ties, and gloves to help protect your hands while putting them in the ground. But if they're rusting after only one week, not great value for money.

Very pleased with product! Well made, easy to line up on edge of garden. Looks very nice, better than the plastic ones you can buy or the wide spaced ones at the garden shop. The purpose mainly was to keep the critters, bunny rabbits and such from reaching the plants and so far, it has served the purpose quite well. Unless the rabbits grow another foot taller than they are, we should be fine, ha ha

Used these to secure my shed, and groundhogs never came back. Win! Or at least truce.
