Works great, but poor instructions.
Originally I was kind of leery with a two-piece product, but I was wrong, this really stiffened up my garage door. It was easy to install and was extremely rigid. This fixed it right up. Directions are not clear, but if you have any mechanical ability you can figure it out.

Great kit for those who know what they are doing
This item arrived in one day. It is pricy being that you will only get enough parts for 1 door panel. The kit came complete unlike some if the other reviews. It does not come with instructions since these parts are ment for garage door installlers or DIYers with half a brain and experience with tools. You will also need to drill some holes here and there and will need tools to make those holes. Finally, depending on the size of your door you will need to cut down excess material so that it fits your door. All in all this product does what it advertises and requires some handiness. It’s a 20 minute install for those that are mechanically inclined. If fasteners happen to be missing just go to your hardware store and get some sheet metal screws for $2. Finally the coat of this item is about 1/3 of a door section and the install is muuuuuch easier that replacing a door section my self. I recommend this item the cost needs to come down $75-85 is a little more palatable if you need do 4 door sections.

Great!
When a hinge broke on my 16-ft wide garage door, the door sagged and prevented me from opening or closing it. I made a temporary fix with angle iron but the door still did not work well. When I purchased this support system I found it to be very easy to install, the threaded screws worked perfectly and within 30 minutes my door was better than new. I followed the directions, installed the 3-ft center section, then added the two 8-ft pieces that meet in the middle. Though the holes provided did not line up with existing holes on the door, my Ryobi drill driver easily drove the screws into the heavy duty support and the door panel supports behind it. I was glad that the garage door installation company was so busy that they were not able to get out to my house for a couple of days. That gave me time to order and install this support that fixed the problem and saved me a lot of money.

Okay quality, but not worth the price.
Others are right. Holes don’t match up and through shipping the edges got bent. Not necessarily fault of the product but at this price it should be much sturdier. You’re better off buying it from your local garage repair that is all a single piece.

Fixed my garage issues
I was having issues of my garage not opening amd starting yo buckle and tear. Took a bit of time to figure it out, and had to drill some new holes. But after finally getting it on, it works!

Save us thousands
Long story short, hurricane came power was lost for a few days, husband put the manual slash on without telling me. So power came back on and I wanted to take the trash out. When I tried to open it, it got stuck!! Yes, I broke it but it was his fault😒, the top panel was bent… and so we called a well known garage door company, gave 2 quotes: $1500 for a panel or $4000 for a whole door. So we called back wanted just 1 panel and they said unfortunately our door has discontinued (our house is only 6 years old), HOA said it could be any brand too, back and forth, this no good that no good, leave us the only option was to replace the whole thing. My husband was like dude, seriously? So he started looking for solutions on YouTube. Videos shown how and what to get to fix similar problems. We replaced the bar and the door popped back out by itself. And it only cost a little over $100 and 2 hours. So yes, I highly recommend this!

Worked as expected
Worked as expected. The predrilled holes didn't match with existing holes but it's not a big deal
