Beeswax and Walnut Oil Polish/Chopping Board Wax Conditioner 50g

I should have read the size, it is only 50 grams. In comparison to the usual furniture polish tins that I buy at Peter Jones ..... which are 150 grams. Which means they are very small for the price. A good lesson to read the small print and not just the photos. Update - I have changed my star rating to five stars. Fantastic product! Went much further than I thought. Beautiful result. No smell or chemicals. Can use around my dogs. I will def buy again and I do recommend it. Thank you! for creating this lovely natural products. So much nicer than the usual ones I get.

THis is a fantastic product. It is a creamy substance made with walnut oil and beeswax. It does not really add a colour to the wood (possibly darkens it very slightly) and when applied to a finely sanded finish, the product is outstanding. It feels nice after it dries a little and mells entirely natural. Highly recommended. I would like to see a larger container, say... 500g but it goes a long way and gives a really professional finish to any item that you want to keep natural. Child safe as well. What's not to like?

This beeswax is really easy to apply and leaves a subtle sheen. I have used it on 3 old chopping boards, and they have come up like new. Great value for money and I’m sure it will last a long time. There is no smell with it and no taste to food either. All in all a great product.

Lovely sheen left after i polished it off..i left it on my chopping board overnight as suggested and was delighted with results.

purchased this to use as part of a finishing process for chopping boards I've been making. For the price I found this to be an excellent purchase and its now a stable in my finishing and maintaining process. Adds a lovely deep finish to the wood and protects superbly against daily use and cleaning. Easy to apply and reapply. Only criticism would be it would be nice to have instructions provided with or on the tin

My partner bought me an expensive knife for Christmas and I needed something to keep the wooden handle in good condition. Works really well and gives and good rich shine. Only needs a tiny amount so should last a long time.

I'm beyond happy with this polish. Using a dishcloth, it took me about 6 minutes total to apply it to both a medium chopping board and a large rolling pin. It was very fast and easy to buff in, and it left the wood smooth but not slippery. The polish does not have any kind of strong aroma. I've used & washed the chopping board 3 times since, and the coverage seems just as good as when the polish was first applied. While I know mineral oil is widely used as a kitchen wood polish and is considered food contact safe, I'm much happier using this polish knowing it's made just from natural edible ingredients. It's worth noting that because of the beeswax, a lot of people wouldn't consider it strictly vegan. I'd be interested to hear from the manufacturer whether the walnut oil means it can or cannot be used on equipment used to prepare food for nut allergy sufferers?

I'd been meaning to polish my beautiful handmade chopping board for years but inheriting my mother's chopping board, which is nearly 70 years old, finally made me act. I'm thrilled with this polish. It was easy to use, non sticky and the boards both look like new again.
