Great wood for great price.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! IT IS NOT AS PRESCRIBED!!! These wood planks are not as shown in the pictures, in the video, or per the Product details. All 6 planks shipped to me are are LAMINATED wood planks,; they are NOT cut from a single log/tree as shown above n the picture and videos of the product. Nothing in the Product description, the photos, or the video depicting the product states or shows that these are LAMINATED planks. The wood grain dies not match because, they are not made from a single cut of wood, BECUASE THEY ARE GLUED TOGETHER THEN PLAINED SO THEY APPEAR TO BE FROM ONE PIEACE OF WOOD. Also, all 6 planks sent to me are not 11” long x 7-9 inches. The 6 pieces that came in the pack ARE ALLL PLAINED TO 3/8 INCH (0.375 inches) thickness, NOT the minimum 0.39 inches thickness per the Product DETAILS/Specifications! THE WIDTH OF EACH PLANK IS 6-1/4” and they are cut to 10-7/8” long not 11” long! The “Live” Bark from the the bass wood planks are from young trees (3-5 years old), and do not resemble the “Live” edge bark not from mature Basswood trees 10-20 years old trees as depicted in the pictures and videos of the product. Hence, THIS PRODUCT DEALER IS DECEPTIVE in their description of the product posing it to be a superior product as they described, but the reality is it is an inferior product intended to deceive the buyer and profit the seller! Given the quality of the product, THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT IS ALSO OVER INFLATED !

Product dimensions not accurate. 11x7-9 inches is more like 11x 6-6.5 inches even on the thickest portion of the wood. The piece isnt even a complete plank its 3 portions glued together to make up the plank. It does come what looks to be planed and sanded but its not worth the money.

These are very thin wood strips glued together. Not as pictured, the edge pieces with the bark are light like in the pictures but the center strips are much darker. These arrived covered in mold. The picture was taken after I attempted to clean the wood. Terrible for engraving.

Very well packaged. Excited to try this wood for pyrography. Will give an update at a later.

Good wood to burn on. But, after a bit the bark starts to pull up.
