So far, perfect. Works as advertised and just as pictured. Lets in nice fresh air, keeps bugs out. Good magnet closure. One of my dogs figured out how to use this in about 5 minutes. The other one is still working on it - big dummy :-) Read a lot of reviews that griped about the teeny little nails. Got around that by using a medium staple gun. Had it securely up and working in about half-an-hour. Seems sturdy. Will reserve judgement on durability till the screen has been in use for a while. Hope it lasts a good long time. Right now, for the functionality, appearance, and apparent quality, would recommend.Update: from April 4 to June 22, this screen has been a blessing. Both dogs have figured it out, and Mama doesn't have to jump and down to play doorman 87 times a day. Lets in nice light and air, looks good, too. So far, definitely recommend !

Far better than others I have used. I have tried plenty of the one's that split down the middle, and have magnets in plastic holders spaced down the opening. This is far superior in several ways. I just received this, so while I suspect for reasons below, that it will be more durable, I have not proven that yet. I believe that pets can figure out how to get through it, but I suspect they would not have trouble.PROS1) the magnets are fully enclosed in the material edging the opening. They cannot fall off, and the magnetic seal is top to bottom.2) The side opening seems more user friendly for going in and out, and it does not put a lot of extra strain on the fabric which usually causes the top of the opening to fail on the other style.3) Ease of installation. DO NOT FOLLOW THE ENCLOSED PITIFUL DIRECTIONS. Instead do the following: a) hold the fabric up to assess the correct height (a second person is nice, but not needed, as you can adjust this easily later. Put the wide velcro across the top of THE DOOR FRAME at what seems a good height. The included directions say to put it on the fabric first, which I suspect would be nightmarish. The adhesive is good, but you can still move it if needed. b) once the wide velcro is up, go ahead and hang the fabric door. you can adjust the height now, but even if you get it "wrong" you will still have an easy chance to change your mind. c) put the narrow velcro on the vertical part of the frame. Mine fit perfectly going along the edge of the frame. d) attach the edges of the fabric on the velcro. e) If you need to adjust it up or down or change the width of the vertical velcro, you still can. f) They provide push pins to secure the velcro, but the wood on my door is too hard. If possible you are likely to be happier using a staple gun to tack the edges in a few places.CONS1) So minor as to not be a real con; I ordered two, one may have gotten hot before I received it, as the paper backing on the velcro did not come off cleanly and wanted to tear. But the second one was perfect.2) The included directions are at best...quaint. But it was very easy to install anyway. Best to completely disregard the instructions in my opinion.

Little hard to keep up but that might just be the material of my doorframe. Works great, though. Keeps 90% of flies out. Toddler can use. Snaps back in place most of the time, but sometimes gets stuck on door.

Easy to install, seams like great quality. Live it so far.

This magnetic screen is absolutely fantastic. Previously I owned a middle connecting magnetic screen. It was horrible. The new screen allows for easy unlocking of the door because of the side magnetic part. The screen goes back into place and connects on it's own. The screen is tight knit. 100% insect blockage. No cracks or breaks in screen or edges. Would recommend and buy again.

It's so easy to install it! The instructions were a little vague, but I figured it out. It works best to put on the sticky tape to the velcro on the screen, and remove the paper backing as your hanging it up. In the end, I used the provided thumb tacks to secure it completely. Don't do it while smoking a cigarette., otherwise you'll burn a hole in the screen! 😤😡😭 lol

The magnets don’t automatically close all the way without a little assistance. Could be that we installed a little tight. I have another type that the magnets are stronger and the screen closes together soon as you walk through. I will be removing this screen to purchase a different one.
