Great toilet for DIY RV installation
Toilet very well built, very sturdy. Simple, well designed setup, with flat surfaces, gently radiused corners, a very thick bottom plate for weight and rigidity. Installed in an old Casita Deluxe 16 footer, black tank directly below toilet converted to gray water / urine tank, doubling gray water capacity. Found a compost bucket (Leaktite 2 gallon at HD) that fits, with minimal mods to one side of bucket. Urine diverter plumbed to black tank with 3/4 inch pvc fpt, mpt and slip couplings, with a 1 inch slip to 3/4 inch mpt reducer to mate to urine diverter. Made toilet mounting plate from 1/2 plywood, sealed 4 inch lav hole with 1/2 inch neoprene. WORKS MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED. Keep lid closed when not in use, no nasty smells!!!!!!!

It's a very decent and well made unit.
I just set it up and it is straightforward and easy enough. It is on the low side, more like a Squatting Potty, but will actually be good in my low-top van. I can put it on a platform in my RV. - Gave it 4 stars because it lacks any kind of visibility to the urine level so will have to pay attention. I might be able to insert some kind of a dip stick. - It is well made and looks like it will last a long time!

Could use design improvements
This product is exactly as advertised. It is made of good quality plastic and can hold a good amount of body weight. I purchased it to replace the 5 gallon bucket with toilet seat that I had been using for off grid camping. This Nomad by OGO toilet takes a bit of getting used to because women need to position themselves closer than normal to the front of the seat in order to not miss the urine diverter. If you do ‘over shoot’ you’ll find urine leaks between the urine diverter and the bag for the solid waste and collects in the overall container. Thanks goodness it doesn’t leak. However, for that reason, I really hated cleaning this thing out. It was a much dreaded task. Also, I did not care for having to take the large urine container into a public restroom to empty. Once I emptied it into the toilet, it needed to be rinsed out. I didn’t want to do that in the public restroom sink where everyone washes their hands. I would have been mortified if another camper walked in on me doing that! In addition, I think the overall design could benefit from a small trash can container to hold the bag for the solid waste side. Simply clipping the bag to the sides of the big container just seemed flimsy and a bit risky. Finally, this toilet is really low and strained my knees to squat and get up from. Overall, I regret the large amount of money I spent on this product. Even though I am well within my trial period, I would never consider returning it since I have used it. So, it has been a waste of money from me. I’m just going back to the tried and true 5 gallon bucket with horse bedding pellets inside to absorb the moisture and prevent smell - which really works. It’s so much easier to simply empty it into a trash can every couple of days. That said, others may find the Nomad by OGO to their liking. It’s a personal choice.

Well made. A great edition for campers at any level.
There are so many different kinds of camp toilets. This is one of the basics, collecting urine separately in a bottle, and using pea tmoss or other compostables for the solid wastes. It's not for those who want a completely one-n-done experience. Let's face it, we're spoiled. There is nothing better than the old-fashioned flush toilet in your home. But if by choice or by necessity you need an alternative, this ticks all the bases. It came with some coconut fiber and some bags; you may want to buy extra if you're camping for a long period of time. There are treatments to minimize the urine smell, you can look these up with RV accessories, or you can use a bit of bleach to tame the odor, which isn't very noticeable at all as long as you keep the lid down. Some of the guys may think they can just do their business in the woods, or in a bucket, but remember ladies have other needs, and this will take care of the lady campers who don't mind roughing it a little. Pricey? Yeah, a little. But it was what we needed, and it should last us as long as we should ever need it.

Perfect!
This little toilet is awesome. It’s a little more simplified than some of the compost toilets but I kind of like that about it. Bag in the back, funnel to a jug in the front, and a spray bottle for rinsing (I put 1/3 vinegar in the spray bottle so it sanitizes the urine funnel and works as hand sanitizer also). I just put the toilet paper in the poo bag and toss whatever is in the bag at the end of the day. Everything separates for easy cleaning; no complicated valves. It’s pretty sturdy, seat is wide enough and comfy. The only thing I would change about it, is the urine jug could use to have the opening sloped so that the pee all drains out without having to jiggle the jug, which can result in a few urine drops getting spilled if you’re not careful. Great van life/camping accessory overall. Love it!

Works like cha
Using the portable NOMAD by OGO Compost Toilet and is a little uncomfortable as an adult. It sits way too low. It works like a champ, other than that.

Not Happy. Too many issues.
These things need improvement: 1) It is extremely low. Needs to be on a 3" platform to be a comfortable height for getting up and down. I'm 5'1" and I still have trouble with the short height. (Weak knees). 2) The urine diverter needs to have a bit of slope toward the front, and the back splash should at least 1" higher. Even with normal flow, liquid splashes and leaks into the back compartment AND the bottom of the container. 🤦♀️ 3) The urine collector bottle needs to be redesigned : A) Emptying is fiddly as the top (emptying side) has no slope at all and liquid doesn't drain well. A bit of slope to the drain hole would fix that. B) The bottle handle is square and small. If the handle were repositioned to the very front of the bottle, and made slightly larger/wider and rounded, it would not affect the bottle capacity and arthritic hands would not suffer pain while maneuvering the full bottle. The return window closed so I have not returned. That was my mistake.

the main body seems ok. spare hinges included. (so they know that they will brake due to bad design) the hinge will brake if pressure is applied to lid when its up the tabs to hold the bag are missing making somewhat nascence to use. unable to contact to get the parts shipped
