I buy coffee beans in bulk and split them into 1lb bags to save on shipping. These bags have worked really well. They fit a pound with no problem and the vent works great.I have a vacuum sealer for the kitchen and it seals these bags fine. I put the end of the coffee bag into the sealer and select Seal (no vacuum) on the sealer and they are tight as a drum and solid.

These bags are awesome for separating out a large bag of coffee into smaller ones. These bags are super durable and high-quality. I love that they have the Poole tab on them for when you are ready to use a bag. I use them with a heat sealer and they worked fabulous! I put in a pound of coffee in each one, but you might be able to cram a little bit more into them comfortably. They seal up really easily and keep the coffee fresh when it's time to use it. I'm just using these personally, but these would also be great for someone selling coffee. The Brown color would look really cool if you had some sort of stamp or something or even a label to put on the bags, it's like brown paper so you can easily write on it as well.

I previously submitted a one-star review because I thought the resealing zipper was properly installed in the batch I received. I was mistaken. The seller promptly responded to my post and provided info on how the zipper functions once the bag is heat sealed. Thanks for the info and I think this is a fine product and will be ordering more in the future!

These are just the right size for home roasting batches. I missed that they had to be heat-sealed, but... it works with my home iron!

I bought these bags for home-roasted coffee. They look “professional” and hold a generous amount (at least a pound) without compromising the seal. The only thing I would like in improvements would be for it to magically heat-seal on its own, but my friends who get these bags of coffee really like the re-sealable feature and say the seal works well.

These are great for giving coffee to others when you have a lot of coffee. They serve their purpose well

I have a Foodsaver vacuum sealer. It’s worked once out of four bags. I can’t get my latest to seal. Anyone else having this problem?UPDATE: I checked with FoodSaver and the model I have doesn’t allow you to change the parameters for how long or how hot you want to seal (others do). So it’s a problem with the FoodSaver model, not the bag. I will say two things: It’s a nice bag, and also the company saw my review and contacted me with an offer of a full refund. A nice thing, which I didn’t ask for. I refused it, but I’m changing the review to five stars with the comment to check that the vacuum sealer you are using can handle the thicker paper.
